One of the craziest parts about doing this Video Recap every week just occurred to me. Every week we pull out all of these incredible videos that appear in the Daily Section that feature some amazing riding and great film work. What I didn’t really think about is all of the different countries that these videos come from. This week we’ve got videos with riding from the Ukraine, the U.K, Australia, Argentina, Estonia, France, Brazil, Poland, Canada, Russia and the U.S. which is pretty amazing if you think about it. Check out riding from Russ Barone, Adam Kun, Matthias Dandois, Chad Kerley, Jared Carter, Aaron Ross, Tom Dugan, Kevin Porter, Zac Miner, Matt Beringer, Matthias Dandois and many, many more! Let’s get into this!
If you haven’t seen Chad Kerley’s promo for his signature CK frame from Premium… I’m not even sure what the hell else you could have been doing for 4 minutes that was nearly worth your time.
“The Premium “CK” frame is the long anticipated Chad Kerley signature model. Chad’s street inspired frame features include a double butted top & down tubes with gussets on both, and a heat treated head tube and rear end for max strength. Additional features include a newly designed Premium head tube, and an hourglass bottom bracket shell for daily Derek Dusters.
The CK has a 11.5” bb height, 75 degree head angle, an 13.75 chainstay to center. Weighing in at 5 pounds, with removable brake mounts/hardware, the CK is available in matte gold, matte silver, and matte black.
Sizes available are 20”, 20.5”, 20.8” and 21” with an MSRP of $369.99us.

Russ Barone is one of those riders with a very chill, laid back style that you can’t help but love. This new Cult video from his time he spent in California this past winter is filled with goodness and one you won’t want to miss.

These Division Brand Worldwide team mixes are so damn good. The concept of bringing their riders from all around the world together into one edit filled with banger after banger clip is pretty damn awesome. I hope there’s plenty more of these to come in the future.
“The 2nd worldwide mix from the team, as with the first mixtape we tried to involve as many of the team guys as possible from all over the world which resulted in a good mix of footage from Australia, America, Brazil, Poland, Canada, France and Russia.
Thanks to all the filmers that contributed to this.

I could watch videos like this one of Fit Bike Co.‘s Australian connect, Jared Carter, all day. Everything from the speed and style to those amazing blue lines on these dialed trails make for a hell of a video.
“Heres a little trail session that Scott Greentree put together of Jared, with stylish flow and a variety of tricks you will be seeing more of this young trail shredder in the future.

Can’t ever go wrong with some fresh Aaron Ross, Tom Dugan and Kevin Porter footage! Check out what went down on their recent Empire trip to Argentina!
“We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to send Tommy, Aaron, and Kevin to Argentina for a little rest and relaxation recently, and here is the fun as filmed/edited by Devon Hutchins. The crew was hosted by two amazing individuals, Aurora and Marcelo, and we can’t even begin to thank them enough for the generosity and hospitality. Argentina is an incredible place, and the boys said it was one of the best trips of their lives! Thanks Argentina, Empire BMX”
There’s been a ton of videos to come from this years Simple Session, but this video is hands down my favorite one. I think you’ll understand why after you check this out!
“For a lot of people who are watching and to a lot of riders who participate it is a major event. Last time I’ve been at Simple Session was in 2010, where I focused on filming most of the riding and to be honest thought that that was what I needed and wanted to film. Through recent years I’ve discovered that filming only riding gets boring over time and it does not give me the same satisfaction on completion as it used to before. Therefore this year I’ve decided to take a different path to this event and my newly acquired camera gear allows me to explore more possibilities than before.
I approached it from a different perspective and wanted to catch the beauty of the tricks, the people themselves, their emotions, the moments that the viewers don’t really get to see while sitting at home or sitting at the venue itself. Another aspect was to enjoy myself more and feed from the riders, the atmosphere surrounding and to meet new people. Of course the trickery that was unleashed was no doubt insane, however I got to enjoy it more than I did before, simply because creating something artsy and about the people is so much more rewarding.
I got to talk with Misha Rostomyan who is a very soulful rider and about the transformation of his style of riding as to where it was and where to it’s heading. Be on the lookout for some very interesting way of riding. Since I could not film the finals due to that only those who had STAFF badges could, I got to hang out with the Subrosa team and just goof around.
Also I tried filming skateboarding this year, however due to lack of knowledge and understanding I have unfortunately failed to capture a whole lot of it.
However, due to this and the fact that I could not film the finals I did get to experience my other passion, which is photography. Again my choice/direction was to capture the riders in their own element with both analog and digital cameras. Check the photos here:

This is awesome. The band Rudimental used their music video for the song “Waiting All Night” to tell Kurt Yeager’s story from how he lost his leg to how he came back and got back on his bike. Absolutely amazing.
“The official video for ‘Waiting All Night’ is the inspirational true life-story of San Francisco born BMX champion and actor – Kurt Yaeger, who became an amputee after an accident in 2006.
All the characters in the clip are pro bmx’ers and the real friends of Kurt.
Waiting All Night feat Ella Eyre is out April 14th, pre-order here: http://smarturl.it/WANep

Jordan Utley dropped another banger edit for Killjoy! This time around it features Matt Beringer that reminds everyone just what BMX is all about. Maximum creativity.
“KILLJOY PROUDLY PRESENTS, MATT BERINGER “IN HELL”
MATT IS A FVCKING LEGEND. EASILY ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED RIDERS OF ALL TIME.

This past week, Props dropped a section from the classic Road Fools 12. I honestly forgot how incredibly stacked this video was with legendary riders. If you haven’t seen Road Fools 12… I advise you find a copy.

This is the definition of a good time. Check out what went down at the DUB jam at Rampworx the other week!
“DUB BMX held their first 2013 jam at Rampworx Skatepark, Liverpool on the 23rd of March, and boy did some heavy stuff go down!!
Check out our official edit stacked with some of the worlds top street heads including Ben Lewis, Alex Kennedy, Pete Sayer and more destroying the new set ups at one of the UKs top parks.”
Here’s another amazing video from G-Shock featuring Matthias Dandois! Everything about this one is awesome as hell from the riding to the filming and editing. You really can’t go wrong with a video when Matthias and Hadrien Picard team up.
Damn! Zac Miner put in some work for this new Colony edit and it shows. Absolute street goodness.
“This was filmed over the past 6 months or so, basically whenever I could get to Canberra Zac and I would hook up and film. I really do enjoy riding and filming with Zac, he always has new crazy setups lined up to film at and most of the time it works out. We both worked hard to get this exactly how we wanted it so I hope you guys enjoy it and be on the look out for more Zac in the coming months.
Filmed and edited by Cooper Brownlee
Additional filming by Daniel Johnson, Rhys Yeomans, Jack Kelly, Lachy Swanton and Frenchie.
Monster sent Adam Kun to the Ukraine to film for this new edit and do some demos. This is another one of those videos that everything about it is on point. The riding is wild, the locations are great and the filming and editing is crispy. They even managed to make the demo he did look awesome for this.
“The Hungarian flatland legend’s been busy working on this new edit, taking on the streets of Kiev, Ukraine with his stylish tricks. Adam dropped into Velobike event in central Kiev for a demo with his fans with some incredible lighting and filming.”
