There’s always some footage from BMX videos that just don’t make it into the final cut, but Kriss Kyle had almost 9 minutes worth of footage between crashes, b-roll and second angles that weren’t going to make it into the “Nearly 4K” DVD that Alex Donnachie and the Nearly BMX crew have been working on. Check out a bunch of footage of Kriss going to work on spots in Malaga, Bilbao, California, Scotland and Mallorca. There’s some real gnarly ones we’re surprised didn’t make the cut, that’s for sure.

Just after Nearly 3 surfaced online, Alex Donnachie decided to give us a look at the next installment of the Nearly videos, “Nearly 4K” that will be dropping this coming summer! This is footage that didn’t quite make the cut for the final video, but based off this we can already tell we’re in for another gem!
“After premiering Alex Donnachie’s Nearly. 3 DVD online over the past few weeks, we’ve got something a bit special for you today. Nearly 4k is well under way and Alex decided to send us through some of the leftover clips they’ve bagged along the way. The level of riding from this lot is something else… featuring Kriss Kyle, Alex Donnachie, David Grant, Greg Layden, Jason Phelan, Jonny Moffat, Cain Martin, Jamieson ‘Evilcarnevil’ Carne, Jordan Gosling, Craig Sime and James Chalmers. Look out for Nearly 4k dropping summer 2015!” – DIG
DIG followed the Nearly crew out to Spain for a trip a little while back for some good times and riding. Fred Murray pulled out his point and shoot and filmed a ton of clips ranging from some great riding to hilarious antics they got into off their bikes that he compiled into this new edit. Well worth a look!
“A few weeks back I flew out to Majorca, Spain with Nearly’s Alex Donnachie, Kriss Kyle, Jason Phelan, David Grant, Cain Martin, Si Gibb and Isaac Lesser, and when I wasn’t shooting photos I pointed my step-bro cam at people in video mode. It’s hard to get across what a trip was actually like through the means of twenty odd photos but hopefully this behind-the-scenes video will give you more of a feel of what actually happens on these things. Despite the rain in Spain, the guys managed to clock up a bunch of amazing footage for Nearly 4k and David and Alex spent half the time riding each other’s bikes. Look out for the full video dropping this summer… ish. Shout out to dirty sensors and in-camera mics! – FM

Here’s a fresh BMX video featuring Greg Layden going to work on the streets for BSD. Greg is a grind technician and put his pegs to heavy use on street spots over in the U.K and Barcelona for this video. Check it!
Also, make sure you check out Greg’s footage in the “Nearly 4K” video

It’s crazy how trails spots like this can be pretty much unheard of, even after allegedly existing for nearly 30 years. Eric Robertson sent through this video from the FTH Trails out in New Jersey for you to check out. This one is pretty chill and mostly just footage of people cruising the jumps, but it looks like a super fun spot to ride. Take a peek!
There’s no denying that Jason Phelan is one of those riders that is always awesome to watch ride because you don’t really know what to expect when he drops in. Over the years, he’s blown our minds time and time again between crazy stunts off the bike to some damn amazing riding on his bike. 2015 has been an interesting one for Jason so far, leaving long time sponsor Wethepeople, being let go from Nike and now joining the GT Bicycles team that has really gotten some fire behind it lately. After his last two videos dropped, we knew it was time to get ahold of him to find out just what his story is and what he has going on these days! Let’s find out just what The Irish had to say!
