The other morning I had some time to get to the skatepark for a bright and early session with Wyatt Kreel and a few others. We decided to film a few things and I quickly realized I wanted to do something with this one clip. Wyatt is interesting because he’s a total meat head/beef cake/ jock with tattoo’s but doesn’t like to half ass his tricks. It’s super funny because he will yell at himself, and talk shit to himself until he gets a trick just perfect. I figured the clips I had accumulated really caught this perfectly and tossed them together. Enjoy.
Tony Mortenson Recovery Jam Flyer
These past few days have been better for Tony. He has been showing a ton of signs of improvement and should be getting out of the hospital this weekend. Todd Johnson and a few others have been busy getting things lined up for the benefit jam we are having on July 31st. Above is the flyer. I’d like to thank the sponsors Full Factory, Deco, Kink, Sparky’s, Last Call, and Eastern for stepping up to help out with prizes for the raffle and what not. If you cannot make it to the jam but want to help Tony out, you can donate via Paypal – TonyMortensonRecovery@Gmail.com is the account name. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated. Please remember to keep Tony in your thoughts and see you July 31st!
Mike Potoczny Interview
There’s a lot of good things I could say about Mike. In fact, I don’t think there’s a bad thing anyone could say about Mike. He’s a shredder that always smiles and has a good time on his bike, loves a good road trip, and just an all around good dude. This past year I’ve got to get to know Mike a lot better and I figured it was well overdue to get him an interview. With Mike being busy with school, work, and traveling to Europe, things got slowed down a bit, but that’s perfectly acceptable to me. It’s finally done, and it turned out awesome. Check out what Mike has to say, along with some real good photos, and then leave him some love in the comments!

Tony Mortenson Down
As wild and badass as somebody might be, they are not invincible. Minnesota legend and BACO beast, Tony Mortenson, took a real bad crash at Benny P’s trails the other night. He ended up fracturing his skull in three places and needing emergency surgery to put it all back together. From what I have heard, he’s recovering and definitely going to make it through this like the champ he is.
The only downfall is that he didn’t have any insurance. You can imagine how much something like this must cost and that’s why we’re in the works of getting a benefit jam together. I’m working on the flyer right now and all the details should be out in the next day or two. Just plan on making it to Overpass skatepark in Hopkins, Minnesota on July 31st.
Please keep Tony in your thoughts!
If you aren’t too squeemish you can check out a photo I had received after his surgery along with an old edit and the BACO 10 trailer…

Dew Tour Chicago
Sorry for the slack on getting some fresh stuff up. I’ve got about 10 interviews out that I’m waiting on so hopefully some of thats starts rolling back in the next few days. But otherwise in the mean time, I’m just chilling until the Dew Tour in Chicago July 23-24th. I spotted this flyer floating around and figured I’d post it up since I’ll be making my way down with Jon Wells and whoever else ends up on the party bus. If you get the chance to make it there, you won’t be disappointed. So much partying went down last year and it shouldn’t be any different this year. I got the rest of the flyer and a trailer for the contest after the jump for you to take a peek at.

Spot Check: Ben Polaschek’s Yard
It’s not everyday that you can walk into the backyard in the middle of a suburb of Minneapolis to a 15 foot roll-in into a 10 pack of jumps with 7′ tall lips and landings. Unless you happen to walk into Benny Polaschek’s yard of awesome…

Review: Nike 6.0 MVRK Mid 2 & Melee
A few weeks back I got a few pairs of Nike 6.0‘s to give a go. The two I was working with are the MVRK Mid 2’s and the Melee. I’ve always been a fan of the Nike 6.0 lines minus some of their wacky colorways they have come up with, but that’s what works and kids eat them up. Who am I to tell Nike what color to make their shoes? Regardless! I’ve been cruising around in the shoes lately and this is what I think of them!
