It’s always pretty rad to see how BMX can be transitioned from one sport to another. A perfect example would be Cole Seely, who is a professional supercross racer, that also rides BMX for fun and to benefit his motocross riding. Here’s a video where we get a little insight into Cole’s life and how BMX has influenced his racing. Once you watch this, you can clearly see how Cole took some of the style and bike control he learned on a BMX bike into his supercross races. Hit play and check this out. For most of Cole Seely’s career, he has done just that—gone against what is believed the norm. Instead of chasing around the amateur national circuit and battling against the best in the country, Seely decided to keep things local. Admittedly, it may not have been a choice that helped his young career, but it kept things fun—something that has always been key for him. Motocross professionals are supposed to live in Southern California’s “Inland Empire.” They’re supposed to be grinding away day-in and day-out on long, grueling road bike rides.
