Bank Holiday Trip
Two of the Dead Sailor crew members were able to get a full day of riding in on the Bank Holiday… Check out as they get down on a dialed mini ramp, some street and trails. This is what I call a good day for sure!
“An unusual thing happened last bank holiday Monday, similar to a solar eclipse, all things were in line. No work, girlfriends otherwise engaged and a distinct lack of rain. It was as if the gods of BMX were shinning down on us. Not wanting to waste a minute, Lee and I packed up the Chevy with bikes, a BBQ and some burgers.
The loose plan was to catch the King Harry Ferry across the River Fal with a couple of good friends, hit up a mini ramp we had heard rumours about in St Mawes, eat some meat, then check out a few more Cornish spots.“
Dead Sailor in Barcelona
If you’re in the northern Hemisphere, there’s a good chance you have been dealing with cold, wet, snowy weather for entirely too long. The Dead Sailor crew decided instead of pissing and moaning about it, they would just load up and head to Barcelona to remind themselves what sun and warmth felt like. Take a peek at this video giving you a look at the time they had there. Plenty of goodness in this!
“I’m pretty sure this winter has gone on for years. I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt the warm summer sun on my lilly white limbs. Being a sufferer of acute winter glumness something had to be done… Cue the obligatory Dead Sailor BMX pilgrimage to Barcelona.
The main aim of the trip was to catch some sun, drink some cold beer and cruise the city, all in a very chilled out manner. No pressure to bust out a massive rail or send a killer gap, just see what the city has to offer.
