The Kyle Miller Fundraiser Jam at 5050 Skatepark was a great success, both when it comes to the riding that went down, and the fact that they raised $4300. It’s great to see riders com together like this to help out when people need it.
Here’s a flyer for the benefit jam that’s going down at the Berkley Springs skatepark on May 25th. All money raised will go towards building a new box jump and making other updates to the park. If you are in the West Virginia area, make sure you make your way to this one for sure.
There’s a benefit jam scheduled for December 29th in Phoenix, Arizona to benefit Jeremy Hacker who was recently diagnosed with Cancer. You can find out more about the jam as well as ways to donate money to help him out if you can’t make it to the jam on this Facebook Events Page. Check it and help a fellow rider in need!
I could have swore I posted this up the other day, but I went back and double checked and it must have slipped by. Apologies. Here’s a look at what’s to come for the Banned in the Backyard 2012 jam that’s going down in December. This will be 4 days of pure madness.
“This is our promo video for the Banned in the backyard event. Come hangout, camp, party and ride on Dec. 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. The main events will be on Saturday, December 8th! There will be a minimum donation of $5. The money will go to the riders in the events and food. Please no pets! Huge THANK YOU to all of the sponsors!”
Make your way to the Black Diamond skatepark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 1st for the Time 2 Shine Winter Classic BMX Jam! The Union is one of the sponsors and we’ve sent through a bunch of goodies to toss out so make sure you are there to win some of that! It’s going to be a good time for sure.
On Saturday, November 3rd there was a belated Halloween jam thrown at the Kings park in Bournemouth. It looks like everyone who turned out was there for a good time and plenty of real good riding went down.
