Diamondback product designer, Tyler Deschaine, has an interview up on the Red Bull U.K website where he discusses filming with Jeremy Ball for their section that made it into the finals of The Hunt, his other film work and how he manages to balance that out with his real job. Definitely an interesting read if you are curious about people who are generally behind the scenes.
It’s a bummer that Chris and Corey Furmage’s part didn’t make it into the finals for The Hunt, but at least this means we get to see the footage they stacked for it NOW. Check it!
“Chris Furmage & Corey Furmage’s full video part that they put together for The Hunt BMX Gold Rush 2012 Contest. They put in many hours of riding & filming over the course of many months for this contest. Unfortunately, their part wasn’t even chosen to be in the semi-finals. They discussed on what to do with their footage. Either use all of the clips separately for different projects, or keep it as a full part. They decided to upload their full part for the world to see. Even though their part didn’t get chosen, they are both super stoked on how it came out & happy to share it with you all. Enjoy!

Holy hell! It looks like Jake Ortiz killed it for his section being submitted for this round of The Hunt. I really want to see this full section for sure. I can’t imagine how hard it will be for the judges.
Jourdan Barba teamed up with filmer Ryan Galvan to film his section that’s being submitted for this round of The Hunt. I have a real good feeling this will be a WILD one. Check the teaser!
I was waiting for the teaser for Deluxe‘s Jeremy Ball to pop up. This section should be real good.
“Jeremy Ball’s The Hunt part was compiled over two months, with filming across Washington, Colorado, and Michigan. Jeremy and I set out to create a part that not only show cased unique spots, but also his undoubtedly versatile style. It is amazing to watch him show up to a spot and just start killing lines like a local. I have filmed with Jeremy for almost a decade, and still he never seizes to amaze me with big tricks and big lines. He shows us that the classics will never go out of style, and some times going fast and sideways is all you need to have fun and inspire people to ride.” – Tyler Deschaine
Ricky Moseley is awesome. That’s a fact. I’m sure his part he’s submitting to The Hunt will be loaded with fire too. It looks like he’s got John Andrus behind the lens so that should lead to good things too. Looking forward to this one.
It looks like Justin Care sent it for his section that he submitted for The Hunt. I want to see this full section for sure. Ryan Scott did a real good job behind the lens too.
