“In 1992 a lone BMXer named Carl Lein found a discarded pile of dirt in a downtown Austin, Texas city park and shaped it into a single jump. By 2002 South Duncan Park had evolved into a serious set of world-renowned BMX trails simply called “9th Street.”
Over the past thirty years, a crew of dedicated misfits have shed blood, sweat, and tears to maintain the DIY spirit of BMX and inspire both riders old & new. It follows the evolution of the trails from a neglected city park to the widely beloved community space it is today, enjoyed by riders of all ages.
