Here’s one we had a feeling we might be seeing sooner than later! Kink have released their new Travis Hughes signature Cloud frame for you to get your hands on! This is Travis’ first, and well deserved, signature frame and he decided to cut straight to the chase with it! An affordable frame that can take a beating, with no frills or fancy extras. Gloss Electric White
The Cloud frame is made from 100% 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.75″ standover height, 11.65″ bottom bracket height and a 13.5″ (slammed) chainstay length. You can find an integrated head tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, an internally and externally machined Mid bottom bracket, integrated seat post clamp and laser cut 6mm thick dropouts with integrated chain tensioners. Note that this frame is brakeless and there are no mounts or guides.
Matte Storm Blue
Available in 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths, the Cloud frame comes in ED Black, Gloss Electric White and Matte Storm Blue for $249.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Kink worldwide now, and in the Kink webstore for those of you without a local shop!
Integrated head tube with top and down tube gussets for added strength.
No fancy bridges on this one inflating the cost. This frame is also brakeless which helps cut down costs as well.
