“Cumbernauld – a post-war “New Town” built in the 1950s to ease Glasgow’s overcrowding – might not be the first place that comes to mind for riding BMX, but its maze of concrete walkways, underpasses, and brutalist architecture tells a different story. The idea to film a full video here has been on my mind for many years now and after seeing a lot of the spots disappearing due to redevelopment the clock was ticking.” – Alex Donnachie
