Dave Mavro is keeping the footage from the archives flowing! Here’s another round from what was supposed to be the Red Bull Empire of Dirt but ended up being a trails session at the legendary Decoy Trails, followed up with some ramps, due to weather. Although things didn’t go to plan, it looks like it was an absolutely legendary line up for the session. How this footage is already 19 years old is mind blowing. Check it out!
“Here’s the time I went to England in 2007 and the event was cancelled.
England is amazing though, so no biggie.
Also the chance to kick it with Brian Foster, Corey Bohan, Chris Doyle, Taj, Garrett Byrnes (along with everybody you see in the background) was priceless.
Filmed using my newly acquired Panasonic HVX200a.
Thanks to not having to use strictly 4:3 MiniDV for the originally planned cable TV broadcast, it’s all P2 1080/720, with all the fun (at the time) frame rates.
Cut this week and presented to you today.
Thanks for watching.” – Mavro
