There’s no doubt that when I see anything to do with Bone Deth, it’s going to be crazy and kooky. There’s also the known fact that everyone on the team loves doing insane shit, so their bikes are built to last a bomb drop. We recently caught up with Kert to take a look at his current dialed, but indestructible, tank that he has been working with these days and to find out what else is new with him. Let’s take a look at this sturdy unit!

What’s the newest part on your bike? Back tire
What’s the oldest part? Probably the brake lever or stem
What do you usually go through the fastest?
Tires, grips – the usual. Skids are way too fun
Do you ever get paranoid about anything breaking on your bike?
Not on this bad boy anymore. Stiff like a prick.
Do you change your setup much or are you pretty consistent with the way it is?
I keep it pretty much the same, even if I switch something. I dont like changing parts with no reason. I’m runnin parts that hold up if things get sour.
How are things going with Bone Deth these days? Does Sean and Shajn have anything in the works for you this year that you are getting stoked for?
Everythings prime, things are goin good, keepin the ideas goin and getting some new products out. There are some sturdy ones in the works that everyone else stopped makin, things are comin back. The year started with a signature colorway seat, Spider leather Vibrator. I’m so hyped on that leather piece. Makes your bike mean and hawt (party management). Grab yourself one and you’ll be cool. It’s all about the details.

How are things going with the rest of the sponsors?
Vision is sick, they been hookin me up with shoes for a few years now.
Real into their older styles they keep on releasin and bringin back, mean and clean no bullshit. Good 70´s look.
So you recently ended your trip in the U.S and headed home. How did the trip go? Any highlights you were real stoked on?
The trip was pretty mad. Good and bad mad, went there too motivated I guess. Some of the guys ended up been too lazy and the weather was so hot prime so I had to get used to it for a few weeks. Florida lag! Lagaloid creatures down there. Freaked out for a second. Overall it was sick, first time in Cali, ended up in LA & Venice beach for a few days watching all the kooks tryin to make some green being weird. I got a few clips in the bag and I got to escape encino winter, so I can’t complain. I also loved the time I spent in Boston. It feels like home in a strange kind of way.
Where are you off to next? Any travel plans for the summer you are getting ready for?
Have a few England trips planned right now. Gonna meet up with Waffle, Burns and Colt somewhere around the U.K at the end of July. Film some wierdness and have a jolly good time. I´m really lookin forward to that one. Dead boys on tour!
Have you been filming much lately? When can we expect to see some fresh footage out of you?
I have been lazy filming wise since getting after getting back from the states. I’m resting the body. But I have been savin clips for over a year and filmin a full part for Chris Crawford’s video called “ROTTEN”. That things gonna be sick. Everyone is getting mad clips and crumblin body parts. I’ve been psyched on filming for it – It will be my first full part in an overseas video, so it’s already something else. More motivation for it, you know? I’m gonna start filmin for the next Bone Deth video this summer too, keep it goin. No slowin down.
What have you been up to when you aren’t riding these days? Working at all?
Workin pretty much everyday at Mystic BMX right now. I’ll hopefully have some time off this summer to get more done on the wheels. More time to play.
What’s the last song you heard, movie you watched and website you visited?
Metalleg – Leather & Velvet. Reform School girls. BoneDethBMX.com
Do you have any shout outs or thanks?
Uh oh, thank me thank you. Vision, the Bone Deth dads, you for this bike check, Alan at Mystic BMX for damn everything!
Anything else you want to say?
Don´t eat stuff from the sidewalk.
