BMX BMX

Holy… crap. This will be the 40th Saturday in a row that we’ve done the Products: column. Does this mean I have no life? Wellllll… Maybe. But it mostly means that we’ve been able to give you a closer look at a bunch of dialed BMX bikes, frames and parts every week. This week we’ll take a closer look at FBM‘s Headbanger bars, Cult‘s Vans Waffle grips, Wethepeople‘s Team pivotal seat, Diamondback U.K‘s Pro Half-Link chain and Deluxe‘s Pom Pom sprocket. Let’s get into this!

fbm-headbanger-bars-front-red-detail

First up we have the Headbanger bars from FBM. These are made right here in the U.S.A with multi-butted 4130 chromoly and have FBM’s signature Roasted heat-treating for addded strength. You can find a rise of 8-5/8″, width of 29″, 11-degrees of backsweep and 1.5-degrees of upsweep. The Headbanger bars com in flat black and cherry red with a weight of 27.8 oz.

You can pick the Headbanger bars up for $68.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop here in the U.S get ahold of QBP or Last Call Distribution to get a set ordered up.

Cult X Vans BMX grips

You’re going to need new grips for those new bars, right? Why not give the Cult X Vans grips a go. These grips are made from a proprietary rubber with the classic Vans waffle pattern and made right here in the U.S.A by ODI Grips so you know they’re dialed. They also come in color options of black, blue, gum, orange and white with black nylon plug bar ends.

These are available for $10.99 on Dan’s Comp or you can have your local shop get at Tip Plus (West Coast), Greenhouse (Midwest) or Animal (East Coast) to get a pair ordered up.

Wethepeople BMX seat

Due for a new seat? Check out the Team pivotal seat from Wethepeople. This pivotal seat comes in 4 different version; short (9.27 oz.), slim (9.13 oz.), grande (10.61 oz.), fat (11.25 oz.) and carve (10 oz.). The seat features a kevlar cover with a woven on Wethepeople label logo. Simple and plenty of options to please anyone.

You can get yourself one of these ordered up here in the U.S by having your local shop call up Seattle Bike Supply.

Diamondback BMX BMX chain

It’s always a good idea to get a new chain at least once a year to prevent blasting your knee into the stem when it wears out and snaps. If you’re thinking it’s time, take a closer look at the Pro Half-Link from Diamondback U.K. This chain uses a standard half-link design with a drilled hole for additional weight savings. This chain comes in silver and white for color options.

You can pick one of these up for £19.99 on their web store or if you live in the U.K, you can find a local shop that carries Diamondback U.K here.

Deluxe BMX sprocket

Might as well freshen up the drive line with that new chain, right? Check out Pom Pom’s signature sprocket from Deluxe. Pom Pom is actually a certified CNC machinist so he knew what he was doing with the design. This sprocket is CNC machined from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminum with a real simple and clean look while maintaining strength. You can pick this up in polished, red, blue, Titanium grey or black with 25 (60g), 28(80g) and 30(90g) tooth options available.

You can have your local shop here in the U.S hit up QBP to get on of these ordered up or you can hit up the Deluxe Webstore to order one of these direct from them for £34.99.
