Alpinestars clothing is a brand that has been putting out a solid selection of clothes over the years as they continue to push BMX and make a name for themselves within the industry. Although they don’t have a huge team at the moment they currently support Jamie Bestwick and Chad Kagy. They are also the pad brand of choice for most all of the riders that step to take on the Mega Ramp including Steve McCann, Vince Byron, Kevin Robinson and Zack Warden. If you are looking for some clothing that is based around quality, fit and feel you should see what they have to offer. “Mackinaw” Woven Shirt $46.95
“Breed” Long Sleeve Woven Shirt $69.95
It’s not very often when you get a bigger brand like Alpinestars giving back to BMX and providing good clothes and solid protection in the pad department. If one of the best BMX riders to ever live a.k.a Jamie Bestwick is down with them, that’s good enough for me. All I know is that the more BMX supports companies like this, the more support we will get from them. Remember Levis? Although they came and went, they put a good amount of money back into the hands of BMX and put out an amazing video with some of the best riders out there filmed by a BMX rider. It’s times like these when BMX could use a bit of support from directly outside the industry. You never know when the decision to put together a full team might come along so it’s always good to keep the option open. Plus, they make some pretty rad clothing so do yourself a favor and take a look.
