BMX Bikes

The end of July is already coming and we’re getting closer and closer to September when brands start premiering their newest products for 2014 at Interbike. However, that hasn’t stopped brands from dropping a few new items lately along with some already dialed parts that have been out for a little bit now. This week we’re going to take a closer look at the new 22mm Column cranks from Profile Racing, the 2013 Back To School softgoods from Subrosa, the Unity front load stem from Madera, the Old Schoolin’ snapback from Freed Bikes and then wrap it up with the Bama bars from Hoffman Bikes! Let’s get into this!

After nearly a year of putting the cranks to the test and getting them just how they wanted them, Profile Racing have released their new 22mm Column cranks. These cranks that are made right here in the U.S.A are a stronger and stiffer version of their original 3-Piece cranks to help withstand the heavy street riding going on these days. The arms are made from 4130 tubular chromoly with wrap around spindle and pedal bosses with a 22mm, 48-spline hollow and heat-treated chromoly spindle and hollow flush mount spindle bolts. The cranks are currently available in black with 165mm and 175mm lengths with a weight of 29.9 oz.. These cranks do NOT have sprocket bolt bosses and are designed to work strictly with spline drive sprockets only.

You can pick up the Column 22mm cranks up for $182.99 on Dan’s Comp or for $190.95 on the Profile Web store. You can also have your local shop hit up Profile Racing direct!

It’s that time of the year again and the Back To School apparel lines have been popping up. Subrosa just released their 2013 line and it’s looking good. They have all new shirts, hats, pants, belts, wallets, iPhone cases, jackets and backpacks that you can check out in the 67 page flipbook above. All of these items should be hitting shops and distributors worldwide soon if not already.

You’ll be able to get your hands on these items on Dan’s Comp, through the Subrosa Corner Store or by having your local shop hit up Sparky’s Distribution to get you some or all of it ordered up today!
