I had been hearing all these ridiculous things about the Banned 3 video and figured I better check this out. I knew the guys involved with the video were crazy and could party harder than this guy, so I had accepted I was going to see horrible things…. This is what I thought.
Alright so lets go through the basics…. The video focuses on the Banned crew of Colt Fake, Greg Smee, Daniel Arist, Rickey Bates, Patrick King, Tom Molyneux, Kyle Painter, Johnny Devlin, Mark Mulville, and a bunch of other guys who are quite possibly broke but still appear to be happier than a rich dude.
The video was filmed around the Florida area and I believe Rickey Bates did the majority of the filming and editing. Don’t quote me on that, I just know he was kind of the dude in charge of distributing and everything.
The video has a warning on the case that says “This film contains strong language, nudity, drug use, violence, and other subject matter that may not be found suitable for children under the age of eighteen.” …. I’m 20 and felt like I was watching something I wasn’t old enough for haha. Okay, that’s a lie but it still shocked me a few times.
The video has a few full parts from guys like Colt Fake, Greg Smee, Kyle Painter, and a few others and then a couple of mix sections.
Colt Fake starts the video out and all I am going to say is “Holy Shit”. That’s all you need to know. The rest of the video follows along those lines with the riding and crashes that left me amazed these guys are even alive.
The filming wasn’t HD or anything, but it was still pretty clean and quality. It was a bit shaky at times, but I am not one to really complain. The riding makes up for it. When I say the riding makes up for it, I mean literally they are crazy. I’m sure you heard about a barspin over a rail, down a 17 stair, in the rain, with plastic pedals? That’s just in a mix section.. So think about it.
There are a couple quick scenes of some boobs, blow jobs, and dudes really hammered drunk. The amount of fireworks in this video made me think Michael Bay the director of Transformers had some say in this video from all the explosions.
I read somewhere online saying the video was going to be up for “Video of the Year” for N.O.R.A cup this year.. but I don’t know if that is true. I can’t say if that is true or not, but it might actually have a chance.

The video runs a good 30 minutes or so, with a bunch of bonus footage.
So overall, do I think you should see it? I think you should see it if you are into seeing some crazy street and trails riding, crack heads singing, boobs, alcohol and drug consumption, roman candle wars, fighting, and blood. If any of those things offend you, or you are just scared to watch this then don’t.
I won’t lie, I am scared to go to Florida now. I feel like I might leave with tetanus or something horrible the way these guys party.
