The next stop at Frostbike was one I personally was pretty excited about after catching a sneak peek look at the new Jake Seeley signature Bark Cloth colorway that Profile Racing will be dropping on their Mini Hubs here in just a few weeks! Plus, Matt Coplon, Grant Castelluzzo, Mike Hinkens and Mark Mulville were there to talk to and that’s always a good time as well! Check out the photos after the jump!
Although we called it the “Hawaiian” colorway in the sneak peek we caught yesterday, Jake Seeley’s new signature colorway on the Mini hubs is actually called Bark Cloth! If you have never heard of Bark Cloth before, you probably weren’t around in the 70’s and can find out more by Googling it… This colorway will be dropping MARCH 15th with 100 sets of hub sets between left and right side drive. So… If you’re hoping to get your hands on these, we would suggest you start saving now and maybe try to get your shop to get ahold of Profile Racing for a little pre-order action.
Mark Mulville’s new Natural camo colorway is looking good on the Spline Drive sprocket and his signature Push stem. The 22mm Column cranks have been out for a while now and are looking beefy and strong as ever.
Here’s some news that will get you freecoaster guys excited… The Z-Coaster will be available March 15th! We’re still not 100% sure on just how those internals work, but it sounds like it’s based off a cassette hub and seems to be working real well for the samples the team are on.
This is one we almost missed until Matt pointed it out! This is a prototype sample of a plastic hub guard from Madera that is compatible for the Pilot V2 and Profile’s Mini front hubs. The guard replaces the existing hardware and snaps right on for a tight fit. These are still going through testing, but it sounds like they should be available sometime around Summer. They’re also working on a rear version, but that’s a little further out since they are still testing different materials and styles for that since rear hubs take a lot more abuse.
Profile kept things simple for their booth, but we were digging the news on the new colorway, freecoaster and hub guard!
