Next up we’ve got a look at what the Macneil guys have going on these days. They’ve got a few new goodies so let’s take a peek!
They’ve beefed up their front and top load stems a little bit. They’ve got more material in the back by the pinch bolts and gave them some fresh paint. Looking good.
They left these guys the same as last year as well.
The pioneers of the pivotal seat have seats for everyone. It’s good seeing more padding these days.
They’ve updated their pedals and they now come in a nylon version.
Get a grip. Those Defgrips have been out for a minute but still look rad.
They started over fresh with their cranks. These new ones are based off the old XS cranks with a little more beef for strength. 48 spline 22mm spindle.
They kept their forks the same this year as well.
They shortened up the Deuce Deuce chainstays for this year. I believe they come in at 13.25″ now if I remember right.
Then if I remember right, they changed the chainstay length on these to 13.35″ – 13.50″
Otherwise, they all have mid bottom brackets now as well.
Kevin Kiraly’s signature frame is in the works right now. It features a 75-degree head tube angle, mid bottom bracket, no brake mounts and will either come in 20.75″ or 21″ once he decides which size he likes better. This frame will come in a mint green, black and then a cherry red that they didn’t have on display. This should be out in March!
So that wraps up what Macneil has going on at Interbike this year. They’ve definitely made a few changes with their products but consistent with a real clean image as always.
