Literally about 10 minutes before Interbike shut it down for 2014, we bumped into Niels from Simple Bike Co. who was walking around the show with a back pack with a few goodies inside! We convinced him to open up his bag and give us a look at some of the new product he has coming from the brand for you guys. Oh, and they’re going to be available here in the U.S again since Tree Bicycle Co. will be distributing them! Let’s take a look!
The Eject stem clamps your fork in the middle of the stem instead of the back to give it that clean rounded back to protect the knees and give it a nice look.
Here’s a more traditional top load stem with the 4 bolts on the face plate and 2 in the back. Inside you can find extra machining for weight savings and a recessed top and bottom so you can run it flipped with a clean flush fork top cap as well. The black ring goes on the bottom side (dependent on how you flip your stem) as a spacer to fill. Digging that copper color too!
I’m not sure where the other photos of this stem went! This System stem is similar to the Eject stem, but it’s a front load stem and instead of bolts clamping in the middle, it uses the wedge compression system that uses one bolt to tighten it from the bottom.
The Simple sprocket is just that. Simple and clean!
Keep It Simple.
