Location: Rochester, New York

Position: Full Time & In House

Position Description and Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and execute a variety of photo and video assignments, including product, commercial, studio, on location and editorial style content.

-Shooting, editing, processing, retouching and organizing photos for catalogs, advertisements, web and social media content.

-Filming, editing, exporting and organizing video footage and projects for advertisements, web and social media content.

-Supplying graphic designer(s) with photo and video assets for a wide variety of projects.

Requirements:

-Minimum of 2-3 years photo shooting, retouching, and color correction experience.

-Extremely reliable, detailed and highly organized.

-Must have a keen eye for detail and quality control, and provide mistake-free work.

-Maintain production of a high volume of images under tight deadlines.
-Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.

-Work closely with graphic designers for catalog layouts, ads, website, etc.

-Must have enough experience to feel comfortable shooting and styling product and lifestyle shots without needing heavy management or direction.

-Must be determined to see a project through to the finish.

-Excellent knowledge of photo/video techniques including, shooting, lighting, editing and archiving.

-Strong knowledge of current photo/video technology and equipment.
-Strong knowledge of photo preparation for both print and digital use.

-Must be willing to learn new skills and techniques independently.

-Marketing and social media experience preferred but not required.
-Motion graphic and animation skills also preferred but not required.

Required Software Skills:
-High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, and After Effects.

-Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps software.

-Beginner to intermediate proficiency with YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Issuu.

Education:

-Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory if sufficient experience.
