There’s a lot of photographers and filmers in BMX these days and a good camera bag is never a bad investment when it comes to hauling all your gear around. We recently got our hands on a DSLR Pro camera bag from our friends at Incase and we’re really psyched on it since our old Canon bag just wasn’t cutting it anymore. This bag has a lot of features and a super clean look, so we figured it would be a good idea to take a closer look and talk about just what makes this bag so good. Ready? Let’s do this.
Insight: Sikk Shades – Huckleberry Sunglasses
The other week, a friend of ours had hit us up asking if we had heard about a new sunglass company called Sikk Shades that was just getting its wheels turning. We hadn’t heard about the company, but when we heard it was owned by Eddie Bauer’s grandson, Eddie Bauer Jr., we knew that we were in for something sweet. It turns out Eddie is a big BMX fan and is working on getting a program going that will include a few team riders that you will be hearing about in the near future. We were fortunate enough to get a few samples of one of their first sunglasses, the Huckleberry, to try out and we figured it would be a good idea to put something together to give you guys a closer look. If you’re sick of the sun getting in your eyes, check this out.
Insight: Mutiny Bikes – Spring 2015 Softgoods
There’s something about a well done apparel line that just gets us excited to check out. There’s no no denying that Mutiny Bikes are always producing clean, simple and aesthetically pleasing products and that has been especially true when it comes to the clothing they produce. They just released their new Spring 2015 line and as expected, it turned out really good. We were stoked on everything, so we decided to put together this Insight to give you guys a closer look at just what they have to offer. Ready? Let’s do this!
Photogallery: The Rosedale Charity
Every year for the past 21 years, the Rosedale Foundation down in Austin, Texas have been working hard to raise money for the Rosedale School to help out children with disabilities! For the first time, BMX got involved to do some demos and shows thanks to Dean Dickinson and a crew he assembled featuring Morgan Wade, Brian Hunt and Ruben Castillo, to help out with the fund raising. Leonid Furmansky was at the event documenting some of the days events and sent through a bunch of solid photos along with some words for you guys to check out from the fundraiser! Based off the photos, it looks like it was a huge success and a good day! Take a look after the jump!

What’s Your Favorite Current BMX Colorway
There’s no denying that BMX has seen A LOT of color over the years and we have seen just about every color under the sun from bright florescent colors to 50 shades of black to some shiny and matte colors and as of late, wraps that are looking pretty rad as well! The past few months we have seen some interesting color options from brands like Odyssey, The Shadow Conspiracy, Tree Bicycle Co., Demolition Parts, Madera and Profile Racing that have been getting a lot of love. We figured it would be fun to see just what color takes the top spot at the moment, so here are some examples of these new colors. We want to know what you think!
Product: Kids Complete BMX Bike Guide
Over the past few years, BMX brands have really started putting some attention towards creating some quality complete bikes for the young guns that have really pushed the level of riding that we see from the kids that are 4-12 years old. Not to say that 12″, 16″ and 18″ bikes weren’t a thing before that, but there really wasn’t that much emphasis on it and the quality or options weren’t exactly that beneficial for actually doing tricks and progressing.
It’s pretty easy to see that these bikes have been awesome because we have seen some insane progression from the kids lately and it seems like every day we see a new video that just blows our mind. We got looking around at all of the options that are available these days and it’s pretty amazing what is currently available in the 2015 and now 2016 complete bike ranges that are available or soon to be released.
We decided to compile a handful of the best options that are out there for those of you who are looking to get your kid into BMX. I mean, let’s be real, who doesn’t want their kid riding the skatepark, trails or even street with them on a bike that doesn’t suck? Let’s take a look!

Words by Henry White
If you haven’t picked up on it, I have a lot of views on the industry that many don’t like to talk about. My biggest pet peeve is the oppression we have all endured just for loving our sport. Maybe you haven’t experienced the struggle, that’s ok I won’t hold it against you, but there are many out there that will, in fact there are a lot that will. To many riders, BMX isn’t just about what you can do on a bike, it’s about the experiences you’ve had and how you translate that into your riding, aka your “style”. Which can be a beautiful thing, but that’s not what gets me riled up, it’s those who hold themselves over another because they’re not at the same riding level, it’s crap, bullying and not needed. Who cares what tricks you can do, shouldn’t we all just be enjoying ourselves and helping each other progress, after all BMX is just a leisure recreational activity right…or is it?…
