Nate Richter caught up with him at the G-Park in Highland Park, California for a session. Raul Ruiz, Wes McGrath and Devin Denium got in on the session and clocked a few clips as well. Matt Freiheit has been producing some rad edits and videos for quite a while. I recently hit him up to see if he was sitting on any footage that he would want to do an Original with. Matt came through with the first Krust Only No Bread mixtape that features Tony Renda, Bob Randal, Nakeesa Mirzadeh, Eric Vierra, Matt Freiheit, Scott Menger, Jake Jackson, Hayden Jackson, Jordan Reid, Alan Johnson, Danimals Tuscano, Andy Kawahara and Benj Wood getting riding in the East Bay and Northern California. Usually the idea of an iPhone edit makes me cringe. The footage is usually never that clean and there’s a good chance the footage will look like an earth quake was going on. Sometimes though, the footage comes out clean and if edited right, it can turn out to be a good edit. Nate Richter recently hit us up with this video for you guys to check out that he filmed on his iPhone. The other weekend, Mark Potoczny threw a big premiere party for the release of the new Deluxe DVD, Part Deux, in Pittsburgh. Anyone who has ever been to a party thrown by Mark or spent some time in Pittsburgh knows that you’re in for a damn good time. Over the course of the weekend, there was a jam at the Sheraden skatepark that Tom Arkus organized , a premiere for the video at the OTB bar and a session that went down at the Potoczny’s trails to celebrate the release of the video. As expected, it turned out to be a damn good time. I don’t think anyone fell into the fire this time around either.
Nick Steben made the trip down to Pittsburgh for the good times and came back with the edit above and a photogallery that you can check out below! Enjoy!

Matt Coplon is one of those rare guys who not only can manage to juggle a million things everyday like being a huge part of both Profile Racing and Madera brands, keeping the scene in Tampa Bay together, being a husband and killing it in a band, but even at 35 years old, he’s still out there progressing on his bike. Don’t get me wrong, 35 is the new 23, but still! It takes a lot of energy to do the things Matt manages to get done every single day.
Any time I get the chance to check out some fresh footage of Matt, I get excited because I already know it’s going to be good. I’m really stoked to drop this new edit because it’s definitely some of the best clips I’ve seen out of him to date. Enjoy!

The other day, Jack Birtles and I were talking about some different things and working on his interview that will be dropping here Monday. While we were doing that, Jack mentioned that he had a brand new edit that he was working on with Colony‘s Tom Stretton that would be dropping in the next few days. If you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of Tom’s riding so I got really excited about the news.

There’s no doubt that the MLK park in Long Beach has become a hot spot for any rider making their way through the city lately.
