2nd Annual BV Jam – Best Trick & Rail Jam Edit

Blake Waters is finally back from his snowboard trip he took right after the jam, so now he’s back to editing the footage from the 2nd Annual BV Jam from two weekends ago. Above you can see footage from the Mutiny Best Trick and Division Brand Rail Jam.
As you can see, Reed Stark absolutely kills the place in both jams. He actually won both too (huge wall ride to 180 – the deck on the quarter is like 7 feet for best trick.. and he dropped a ton of crazy rail tricks)… but since Reed is on BSD he passed the frame he had won to AJ Haines who pulled the opposite 360 look back to late tailwhip. You can also see some footage from Erik Elstran, Glenn Dussl, Dan Kruk and more. Check it!

2nd Annual BV Jam – Pro / Expert Edit

Yesterday, the 2nd Annual BV Jam went down at Bluff Valley’s Over The Top Skatepark in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota.
The park was supposed to open at 10:00 but by 9:30 there was already around 20 kids riding the park, so things got rolling pretty fast. As the day progressed there were over 200 people between the 70 or so people who entered the contest and the people there to watch and hang out. So the turn out was awesome. Shout out to the people who came all the way from Nebraska, Chicago, Milwaukee and what not. Definitely psyched people from all over the place were able to come out for the good times.

Above you can check out some of the highlights and results from the Expert/Pro class that Blake Waters got together for us. There’s a ton of real good footage of guys like Reed Stark, Erik Elstran, AJ Haines, Colton Walker, Nick Harkins, Spencer Sullivan, Dan Kruk, Pirate, Tim Oliver, Dan Nelson, Kuba Cerski, Ben Eyelander and more!

Updated Videos Page

We’ve been starting to make some of the tweaks that you will be seeing with the site over the course of the next few weeks. They won’t be anything too drastic, just some stuff to help clean up the site a little better and open up some new opportunities.
The first change is that we have dropped a video player into the site. So now, instead of having to shoot you over to the old BNQT page, you can get all of the Original videos that premiered on the site in the past by going to the Videos page. There’s also a link up top in the navigation bar.

Also, for 2012, I’m looking to get a few regular contributors from around the world involved with the site. Whether that’s video contributors, photographers or writers, the site has been growing and I want to give the people who are producing high quality work a place to showcase it and get paid for it. If you are interested in joining the crew, get ahold of me. Please have samples of your videos, photos and / or writing work ready to preview.

The new year is looking to be a good one.

Recently, Profile Europe‘s Team Manager, Phil Aller, made his way out of the cold, wet weather of the U.K and into the sun of California. Phil put together this brand new edit for Profile that shows some of the street spots, parks and backyard ramp setups he got to ride while he was here. Check it!

United “Downtime” – Full Video

So, unless you were already drunk by the time the video was released yesterday, there’s a good chance you already watched the United “Downtime” video. If you haven’t, well, stop reading and press play already. I’ve watched the video twice already and I’m not only really impressed, but I’ve come to a few conclusions that I tweeted which you can check out after the jump…

There’s more that I could say for conclusions but I figured 7 was more than enough reasons. It’s Christmas so there’s a good chance you don’t have anything going on today so kick back and watch this already. Happy Holidays everyone!

The last few weeks have been busy for Mike Meister. He has spent time in Colorado, Michigan and Alabama. In that time, he was filming until the snow put an end to any chance of getting out and riding street. Mike put together this quick but rad new edit for The Union with what he had for clips between him and Jeff Brown.
