Common Crew – Edventures – Simple Session to BCN

March 28, 2019

The Common Crew dropped the latest installment of Edventures giving us a look at what Eddie Cuellar got into during his time in Estonia for Simple Session and Barcelona, Spain! As always, Eddie delivers with riding footage and plenty of no riding footage that’ll leave you laughing. Take a look!

“We’re back with another Ed update. This time the crew travels to Estonia for Simple Session where Denim gets an astonishing 47th place and Augie single handedly loses the traditional Skater VS BMX hockey game. From there we fly to Barcelona where even more people show up for a three week filming/partying extravaganza. Ed captured some antics and Sauce filmed a solid crew video that will be dropping on the channel soon!

Featuring: Eddie Cuellar, Denim Cox, Austin Augie, Justin Spriet, Anthony Panza, Billy Perry, Tony Hawk, Mini Lasgoity, Lewis Mills, Johnny Raekes, Reed Stark, Mark Burnett, Jespfur, Chris Eiland, Julian Arteaga, Jaume Sintes, Mauro Valencia, Trevor Sigloch, Jared Duncan, Emed, David Pendleton and Sauce.

Best of Timm Wiegmann 1997-2018

March 28, 2019

It’s always rad seeing how a rider evolves over time. In most cases it’s only a couple years at most that we ever see that evolution. However, today we got a hell of a treat courtesy of Freedom BMX because they just dropped this new Timm Wiegmann video that spans 21 years! It’s pretty awesome seeing how Timm’s riding progressed, along with how styles and his bikes have changed over the years. Needless to say, this is an awesome watch, so take a look!

“Today’s episode of #damalsdonnerstag definitely belongs in the category “Deluxe”, because Timm Wiegmann has leaked a video for us in which he reviews his best moves from 1997 to 2018. Timm was always at the forefront when it comes to exploring the possibilities of what is technically possible on a BMX bike. You could even say that he was often a few years ahead of his time, so long is the list of tricks that he has made at least in Germany, if not the world first or as one of the first. Uprail to Nollie Bar, for example, was checked off by him in 2002, three years later Nollie to Tooth Hanger and Halfcab to Nozza were tuned and in between he also perfected the right Crankarmslides – not the newfangled rumble slide on the pedal, but fuller Crank arm contact with the rail. Risch table! And as if that was not enough, the list of tricks that Timm has not yet made a Barspin is extremely manageable. In short: There are only very few drivers in this country who have gone off for so long at such a high level as the East Frisian curly-haired head with the permanent grin on his face. But we have arrived at the most important point when it comes to describe Timms driving: Even more than three decades after he first climbed on a BMX bike, he not only still goes damn steep, but also has a lot Fun, no matter how good or junk the spot may be. Ladies and gentlemen, throw your hands together for the one and only TIMM WIEGMANN!” – Freedom BMX

Boyd Hilder Odyssey BMX

Here’s some good news for you! Odyssey have added Boyd Hilder to their PRO TEAM! Boyd has had a bit of a shake up sponsorwise this year after parting ways with Volume, to join Federal Bikes and then parting ways with Demolition that lead to this new opporunity with Odyssey! Boyd has been absolutely crushing it the past few years, so we’re stoked to see what this new opportunity with Odyssey will bring! Get stoked. Below is some words about the news!

“We are beyond stoked to welcome Boyd Hilder to the Odyssey pro team! Boyd’s riding is a wild mix of gnarly, technical, and consistent. Whether it’s his casual nature or the huge smile on his face, Boyd makes the biggest, hardest moves look easy. He’s a ramp slayer, a street shredder, and a contest winner – Boyd does it all.

We’re sure Boyd’s energy and enthusiasm will fit right in with the rest of the Odyssey squad, and we’re all hyped to get to know the new homie.” – Odyssey

“Boyd is the epitome of a term I heard him use first, MAD RIDER. I’m stoked he is joining Odyssey and I look forward to our upcoming adventures.” – Gary Young

“Boyd’s been on Odyssey’s radar since coming out for Texas Toast in 2014, and we’re thrilled he’s finally on board. Be on the lookout for a welcome edit, and a few of us are heading to Australia to visit Boyd next month…. Good times ahead! Follow @boydhilder.” – Walter Pieringer
