Bloom BMX caught up with the ladies for practice on the X Games course!
After years and years of trying to make it happen, there is an official Women’s BMX Park contest going down this weekend at X Games 2024 and we’re real stoked on that! The Bloom BMX was on the course for the practice sessions to see what was going down for riding, along with talk to the ladies to see what they think of the course.
“It’s true! History will be made in Ventura, California this year with the induction of the first Women’s BMX Park Medal event at X Games! The ladies have arrived and spent the last two days at practice. The wind was strong, the tunes were up (most of the time) and the spirits were high. With the X Games going down in California this weekend, it’s always interesting to see how guys like Kevin Peraza get ready for the big show. Here’s a fresh video he dropped on his Youtube channel where we get a little look at the training, riding and more that he gets into to prepare. This is all in Spanish, but there are English subtitles. Fortunately BMX is a pretty universal language so it’s easy to see the work he puts in. This is just the first episode, so expect to see more of this coming up.
