Tempered – Doomsday for the Deceiver: Wilton Hedley 2015

November 23, 2015

The Tempered crew are back and they’re coming in strong with the “Doomsday for the Deceiver” video. Up first we get a look at Wilton Hedley‘s section, which is jam packed full of gnarly street, trails and park action. Wilton is no stranger to sending it and bringing a ton of style to the table. Get on that play button and enjoy this… It kicks a TON of ass!

“This serves some of the justice owed to Wilton and his talents in having as much fun as possible on a bike with a smile on his face, typically following a hangover and with a classic edge reminiscent of early 2000s BMX.
Welcome to Tempered Wilton. Doomsday.
Filmed over the majority of 2015, largely around Brisbane, Australia.
Shot/cut: Mike Vockenson

Ender Ender – Sean Burns In Anthem II

November 23, 2015

Remember that wild gap that Sean Burns wrapped his “Anthem II” video part up with from the cemetery? Well, today we get a little in-depth look at what really went into that clip and just how gnarly it was just because of the sketchy setup. As always, Sean will have you cracking up super hard and have your jaw on the floor when you watch his get squirrelly setting up for this one.

“Our Ender Ender video series continues today with Episode 6 and Sean Burns’ hauntingly large banger gap from his Anthem II DVD section. Sean explains the intricacies of creating a run-up through a graveyard in the middle of the night and how Crandall managed to jinx the whole situation. Just look out for the Van Buren Boys!

Jason Phelan – Worlds First Fakie Front Flip Backpack

November 23, 2015

Jason Phelan is all about getting a good laugh in a time or two. The other day he decided to give fakie front flips a go, but he didn’t want to deal with smashing his back and ass on the ground over and over again while figuring it out. Jason decided to do a little engineering and invented the Fakie Front Flip Backpack, which is essentially a backpack filled with foam from the foam pit at Unit 23 Skatepark. Hit play on the BMX video above to see if he actually pulled it off or not!

“As a joke I decided to stuff foam cubes into a bag and try a fakie frontflip on the resi at unit23skatepark for a laugh. This is kind of a how to as Little did I know it would lead to landing one on an actual ramp. So here the fake front flip backpack was born. Who’s next to try learn one with this bag. Instagram@jaypbmx for more stupidly cheers @ollyrendle for filming”

Deluxe BMX – 2015 Northeast Trip Edit Before The Edit

November 22, 2015

Here’s a gem we spotted on Can You Dig It. The Deluxe crew dropped this banger of a BMX video from their team trip to the Northeast to cruise a few different sets of trails. If you’re looking for style, big clicked turndowns and tables and some big old 360’s, this is the one you need to hit play on. Apparently this is just a taste of what’s to come, because Ty Stuyvesant has a full trip documentary on the trip dropping on Thanksgiving! If the documentary is half as good as this, it will still kick a ton of ass, that’s for sure.

Pete Greaves – Schwing!

November 22, 2015

You know you’re in for a treat when Pete Greaves drops a new BMX video. It’s been a little while since we’ve seen a video from him, but it looks like he’s been working on a trick that will definitely be one we expect to see a ton of kids trying to learn once they see this… Watch as Pete cruises his local DIY spot, then get your first look at a “Schwing!” … Digging the name of this trick, haha.

“This is basically an hastily cobbled together edit to celebrate conquering my nemesis trick. I’ve been trying it on and off for over three years, regularly putting in over an hour a week attempting to nail it. Basically a flatlanderesque level of time dedicated to learning a flatlandesque grind! Also, “learnt” is maybe a bit strong for a trick that I have pulled once in an estimated 10,000 tries…
I’m pretty sure its never been done so I’m calling naming rights. The trick is called a “Schwing” after the sexist groin thrusting motion from Wayne’s Word. Other names that were considered but rejected by the focus groups:
Croque Monsieur
The Hot Stepper
Chaffinch
Trial by Pegs
The Ordeal
