Here’s one we spotted over on Focalpoint from last years Mandurah Action Sports Games! Take a look at all of the riding that went down! Looks like it’s a smaller local event, but they had a real solid turn out for this and that kicks ass!
“The Mandurah Action Sports Games is Australia’s biggest action sports event. The BMX competition was off the hook with a large amount of radness flowing around the park. This is the highlights from the BMX skatepark and halfpipe competitions.“

Here’s something pretty interesting that I spotted over on Flat Matters. The guys over at St. Martin saw a gap between kids bikes sizes and decided to fill it. They’ve developed a 14″ bike that is designed like an actual 20″ bike to help get the younger kids on BMX bikes sooner. Prior to this, it was the tiny 12″ bikes or 16″… Ultimately, this just makes it even easier for kids to get on a bike versus a scooter, which helps BMX huge! You can find out more about the bike on the St. Martin website!
I’m not sure exactly what the Vendee Freestyle is, but based off this video and my lack of knowing the French language, I’m going to assume it’s basically a big BMX show that’s more in a jam format? I don’t know. Either way, hit play and take a peek at some footage from some of the shows. Looks like they do a good job of filling the seats!
