BSD – 30% Chance of Sun – 2012 UK Shop Tour

October 4, 2012

The BSD team might have hit some rain along the way, but damn does it look like they had a good time on the road this summer.

“This summer the BSD team travelled 1,500 miles through the UK to stop off at 20Twenty Store, Evans, Mode, Alpha, Crucial and The Source bike shops and film some riding along the way. Despite our pessimistic weather forecast for the trip we were treated to some amazing sunny days and a few rainy ones but everyone had a blast along the way. Here is the video of the shop trip. Thanks to all the shops we visited and everyone that we hung out with along the way. You all made it a fun time!
Filmed and edited by Dave Sowerby. Additional filming by Tony Malouf, David Grant, Alex Donnachie and Grant Smith.

Rob DiQuattro 2012 Street Edit

I bet you’re going to be pretty confused by this one, but that is indeed, Rob DiQuattro riding trails. Hell yeah!

Rob Wise Bike Check

Head over to the DIG website to check out Rob Wise’s unit that holds up to all the beastly riding he throws down on it. What do you think of this bike?

Tea & Biscuits Summer Tour: Shop Stops Part 1

October 4, 2012

Looks like the first round of shop stops were a huge success from the Tea and Biscuits Summer Tour. Take a peek at what went down!

“This video, the first of two shop stop edits from our Tea & Biscuits Tour, features bike riding, tea slurping and biscuit nibbling from Stevie Churchill, Mike “Hucker” Clark, Broc Raiford and Chris Doyle as they session parks and makeshift spots at three of the awesome shops that put us up.
Thanks a million to everyone at Brighton BMX, Crucial and Rad BMX for making the trip such an grand success.
The third and final video in the Tea & Biscuits series should be online next week, so be sure to check that out and keep your eyes peeled for our next, considerably less healthy tour ‘Chips & Gravy’ early next year.

Concrete Life with Ryan Barrett and Roman Tencza

October 4, 2012

I think we can all agree there isn’t enough Ryan Barrett footage going around these days. Check out Ryan and Roman Tencza killing some Northwest cement park, trails and pool goodness in this new Crooked World edit.

“Ryan Barrett and Roman Tencza could be considered the big wave BMX surfers of the Pacific Northwest. Consistently roasting bowls like they’re charging Pipe on the North Shore. If its under 8 feet, it doesn’t count! Filmed by Dean Dickinson.“

Stevie Churchill Off Volume and Demolition

October 4, 2012

Well, I didn’t see this coming. It looks like Stevie Churchill is no longer riding for Volume or Demolition. I’m not sure exactly why… but I’d imagine it won’t be long before he finds himself on a new team.

“Stevie has been with us for over two years now, and over the course of that two years has really grown exponentially fast as a rider. His level of technical burliness, lack of fear, and unmatched consistency is something that BMX has never really seen before…and will be lucky to see from even a handful of other humans in the future. We’ve done a lot for/with this lil guy and it’s never easy building a seemingly good relationship with a rider, only to see him suddenly go. Regardless, we’d like to thank Stevie for the great times, and we wish him the very best of luck with his new ventures. Swag.” – Volume

“It’s never a good day when we have to announce that a Demo rider is no longer going to be part of the team and today is no different. Unfortunately due to a series of recent actions and events we have decided to let Stevie Churchill go from Demolition Parts. Stevie has been on the team since he was sixteen and we truly regret the way in which our sponsorship with him has to end. We here at Demolition would like to thank Stevie for the time and effort he has given Demolition and wish him all the best in the future.” – Demolition

Strictly BMX – Mick Bayzand: Park jibs

October 4, 2012

Don’t let the title fool you… This edit is packed with some pure fire! This is a MUST SEE.

“It’d be fair to say that Mick’s best known for gnarly edit’s and slaying some of the biggest rails in BMX. He wanted to change it up for his latest edit and throw out something more tech so he’s been at work over the Aussie winter clocking clips in a bunch of Melbourne skateparks and this is the result!
