DIG dropped a few photos of some prototype pedals that Jared Washington is running from Animal. These plastic pedals are bearingless and appear to run on an oversized hollow spindle. Open publication – Free publishing – More albion

The Albion will be offering their past issues online for free! Above you can find the first upload, issue 1, which came out April 1st, 2011. It’s been hard to get your hands on each issue so this is your chance to see what you might have been missing out on. Here’s what The Albion had to say about the news…

“For the next nine weeks we shall be publishing a back issue online every Monday morning, starting today with The Albion Issue 1.

To give precedence to our print publication and subscribers, all future issues of our UK and North American editions will be published online two months after their print release date. To all those who purchased an Issue 1 PDF download a full refund is available.

By publishing The Albion online for free we hope to expand our readership by reaching out to scenes further afield where the magazine is not readily available, so that we can now offer a free magazine to riders around the world.

Yesterday, we filled you in on that Mike Brennan had left Animal for a new brand that him and Sean Curran are starting called Merritt. Today, TCU dropped word that Brad Simms, Charlie Crumlish, Brian Foster and Pete Sawyer are all riding for the brand as well. Expect more about this soon!
