Scott Hagnas – 53rd Birthday Edit

October 10, 2019

It’s always rad to see the older guys who are still out there riding and enjoying their time on their bike. Scott Hagnas celebrated his 53rd birthday by releasing this new edit from some of the flatland sessions he has been getting in as of late. I feel like there’s been more and more riders in the 50+ club as of late, and that kicks a lot of ass. Hit play and let Scott show you how it’s done!

“Scott is a NW legend and just keeps cranking out the hits!” – Snakebite BMX

Madera – C4 Plastic Drive Side Hub Guard

October 9, 2019

Do you run a Madera or Profile Racing hub in the back? If you’re looking for a drive side hub guard, Madera have released their C4 drive side guard that utilizes a proprietary insert that replaces the jam nut on your axle to allow your guard to snap right into place. Hit play to let Matt Coplon tell you all about it, along with a detailed look at the guard and how it’s installed!

“Custom-made for both Madera and Profile Hubs, the C4 Drive Side Guard is designed to protect your hubs, keep you grinding smoothly, and all with only minimal weight.

It is sold as a combo including the guard and proprietary hardware that will fit on the Madera V2 Cassette, the Madera Gulf Coaster, the Profile Racing Mini Hub, and the Profile Racing Z-Coaster.

Buy the combo pack to start and replace the guard on its own later if necessary.

You must have the proprietary hardware that is installed with an adjustable wrench in order to run this guard.

Make sure to check out all of the other guards we make, including our C4 Plastic FRONT Guard and our C4 Plastic Non-Drive Side REAR Guard to match this guard below.”

Janis Bauska – Jelgava Town Local

October 9, 2019

There’s no place like home! Par BMX dropped this new edit featuring Janis Bauska cruising his local park in the town of Jelgava, Latvia. Janis learned how to cruise at this park, so you can imagine he has the place all figured out, which leads to some great riding. We almost forgot how stylish Janis’ riding is, but this video definitely reminded us! Check it out!

“Janis Bauska and his long time friend Arturs Lurins, who also happens to be a devoted filmer, session their local hometown skatepark on one of the last warm days of summer. Both dudes live in the capital of Latvia, Riga. That makes each visit to their hometown of Jelgava a special one. With Janis riding and Arturs behind the lense, you are sure in for a treat.” – Par BMX

Dan’s Comp Has Been Sold

October 8, 2019

Dans Comp logo black

The past few years have been pretty rough for Dan’s Comp. They went from the largest mail-order in BMX to bankrupt and in what seemed like a complete mess in a pretty short period of time. There were a good number of brands owed money and what appeared to be a ton of orders not getting shipped out to customers based on the comments on their social media channels. After all the rough time, it looks like Dan’s Comp has been sold to a new parent company, AMain.com, Inc. We don’t know much about this new owner, but it sounds like they are planning to get things back on track. They’ll be moving Dan’s Comp out of Indiana to two warehouses on the East and West Coasts for improved shipping times, increasing their customer service to 7 days a week, launching a new website and doing things like rewards programs to try to right the ship. It does sound like they will be putting more emphasis on the race side of BMX, but we would imagine they will be carrying plenty of freestyle as well. Below is the official press release with full details on the changes…
