This interview is pretty funny for a couple of reasons, but I’ll just tell you that Corey is unique. From doing 900’s to almost doing porn, it’s all pretty interesting. What was it that first got you into BMX? Any early memories come to mind?
Ever since I was little, I was always on a big wheel or some kind of bike. So I guess it felt right to get into BMX when I got older
You recently made the switch over to Simple and Demolition. How did that all come about? Do you have any big news involving them and you that you can tell us about?
Niels from simple is an awesome dude and hooked me up and put me on the team. Hopefully in a few weeks I’ll be chillin in Denmark with those guys. I am wicked psyched on that. I left coalition because I just really wanted to try new things and I’m really picky about the parts I run. I ended up not using their stuff so much, so we parted ways and the guys there were real cool about it. Then, I ended up getting put on Demolition which I’m so psyched because the guys out there seem wicked dope and I love everything they make and love running there stuff.
Any other sponsor related stuff going on?
I don’t know really, I think the garden bike shop is putting a video together so hopefully I’ll film some stuff for that, and the my trip to Denmark with Simple.
You are from a pretty small town, is it hard to progress with not many options, and nobody to ride with really?
I never found it to be a problem I just love being on my bike. My good friend Kane and I started riding like the same day and could session a parking lot for hours. I just love to ride everything. Hopping and little stuff is always a fun time.
I’d imagine you do quite a bit of traveling then? Where are you usually going to so you can ride?
I try to but I really don’t much at all, when I do its just like a few towns over to ride with some more of my friends. I get out to NYC to ride with my baby muffin man as much as I can. I’ve been to Florida a few times, also Philly is always fun. I go wherever I get the chance pretty much and it’s not to often so it kind of sucks.
Who is your usual riding crew when people are around? How did you guys all end up meeting?
Because I’ve been working a lot to pay for my car and stuff and since I’m still in high school that takes up a lot of time, so I’ve just stuck around my area. My good friend Kane, and all the local kids. Then Jeff D when i get a chance to go out his way. We all just met through friends or riding together.
Do you have any big trips or filming projects planned at all coming up this summer?
I have the trip to Denmark that I mentioned before. Hopefully putting together a little web edit for demo. Just having fun on my bike and riding with friends. Maybe head down to Florida again if I get the chance
You are around Team Jeff DuPaul from time to time. What is a crazy or good memory you have involving that crew?
haha about 15 of us all chillin in a diner at like 3 in the am after a sweaty haven session I would say.
Since it is hard for you to get together with people to ride from time to time. What do you do to keep things fun and moving forward with your riding?
I just do anything that I think is fun whether people like it or not. As long as I’m diggin it I’m psyched and try new things
What was like to be only 15 and do a 900 on a quarterpipe, and able to do bunny hop 3 xups, triple xups, turndowns, and xup can cans?
hahahaaha I don’t know, I guess it was pretty dope
Why do you only do barspins, whips, and hang fives now?
Because its funnnnn! You can do soo much with those three things. I can do so much weird shit but like I get hooked on a few things and stick with them till I get bored then try new things. I guess I have a few main things I do and then keep everything else on the sideline that I’ll do once in a while.
Do you have any pet peeves when it comes to BMX? Anything that really bugs you at all?
Too many ugly bikes, Kids you can tell try too much, and asshole riders. lol I don’t know, there’s a few but mostly peoples bikes get on my nerves haha
What do you think you would be up to if you never got involved with BMX?
I don’t know because I’m an idiot in school. I probably would of just got into cars sooner or something like that, or follow after my dad with some savage band crap or something.
You are battling the Swine Flu right now. How is that all going for you? Are you going to make it?
HAHAHA I’ll live. Everyone thinks its so bad, but its a tiny bit worse than a normal flu and only deadly if your wicked old or have a lot of health problems.
What are you usually up to when you aren’t riding? Is there much to do where you live?
Probably driving around or chillin with my friends, work or with my cats
Do you work or go to school at all?
I’m in 11th grade because I stayed back in second grade. So I’m kind of old for my grade. I work at a restaurant doing dishes to pay for my car payments and insurance and stuff. I might drop out get my GED mad quick and start going to a trade school for automotive, like take night classes
First song, and movie to come to mind?
I don’t know about a song but “The Hangover” for the movie. hahahaha I just saw it probably is the funniest movie ever.
Do you have any good stories involving you and girls, midgets, cops, security, or anything wild like that?
haha I don’t know. I was jumped once by like 20 hood blacks for my bike in Philly and that definitely sucked and such a long story, haha having my butt hole licked by a girl was pretty wild too.
What are the top five strangest places you have had sex?
Swing set, random parking lot under the moon like in some ladies back yard, outside of my car in a random motel parking lot, um I don’t know anymore besides those its been pretty normal
Approximately how many girls have you devastated over the years?
hahah I’m not really sure anymore.
Have you ever considered doing porn?
I actually was about to be one not to long ago for a online web room porn star. I messed up on my job forum thing I had to send it in to prove my age and whether to be payed by check or paypal. Then I started digging a girl and knew she wouldn’t like it so I didn’t fix it and send it back in.
What makes for a good night out for you?
Friends that’s all u ever need, some gwap helps out too.
When Jeff DuPaul and I were talking about this interview, he warned me about your horrible ability to spell. How do you feel about this?
Get used to it! I’m trying to do okay with it but I’m sure your going to have to fix a bunch still. hahahah I’m terrible at spelling

What are some things you would like to accomplish, or where do you see yourself in the next few years?
I want to have a decent job that I don’t hate and a nice girl that I can keep. I want to be able to ride everyday still. I don’t want that to ever change. Hopefully have some type of education so I have a good job when the time comes to need one
What is the best advice you have ever been given, or able to give?
The one and only person you can ever trust is your self.
