2017 Gateway
Keeping the party going, here’s a look at the 2017 Gateway from Cult. This bike starts out with a frame that has a chromoly front triangle with a 1020 Hi-Ten steel rear triangle and a 20.5″ top tube length. This bike comes with two-piece bars versus 4-piece bars like we saw on the Devotion and Control bikes and a 1020 Hi-Ten steel fork. The rest of the bike is decked out with a few Cult aftermarket parts as well.

Sprocket: Cult Member style – 25-tooth

Seat / Seat Post: Cult 1-piece padded seat and post combo.
Front Wheel: Sealed front hub with a 3/8″ male axle laced to a single wall rim with a Cult X Vans 2.35″ tire.
Rear Wheel: Sealed cassette hub with a 9-tooth driver laced to a single wall rim with a Cult X Vans 2.35″ tire.
Brakes: 990 U-Brake
The 2017 Gateway comes in three colors; black, translucent red and Silver with a 20.5″ top tube length and a price tag of $399.99. This is a great bike for the slightly smaller rider just starting to get into BMX that is looking for a dialed bike without a heavy price tag.
