A few weeks back at Interbike, we got a look at Tyler Fernengel‘s signature Paradise line that features bars, a top load stem and seat that will be available in Tripod and Pivotal versions. With the line dropping in just a few weeks at the end of October, we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look at the line and see just what it’s all about. If you’re on the hunt for a new BMX stem, bars or seat, this might just be what you’re looking for… So let’s get into this!
Paradise Stem
The Paradise stem is CNC machined from 6061 alloy with a 50mm reach, 48mm width, 33mm stack heigh and a 35mm rise. This steam features extensive internal and external machining to help reduce weight. The edges are beveled for smooth rounded edges and the top is recessed for a flush fork compression cap. As we mentioned above, this stem has a 48mm width, which helps to give the bars more clamping area to help prevent slipping even during some gnarly drops. There’s 6 chromoly bolts to keep everything tight as well.
The Paradise stem weighs in at 12.8 oz. and will be available in black and polished.
Paradise Bars
The Paradise two piece bars are made from fully heat-treated, 13-butted 4130 chromoly with two rise options; 8.75″ and 9.25″, a 28.5″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep, 1-degree of upsweep, a 6.3″ (8.75″) or 7″ (9.25″) crossbar height and an 11″ (8.75″) or 11.75″ (9.25″) crossbar width. These bars feature thicker tubing on some of the key stress points to help resist bending from big drops and heavy impacts.
The Paradise bars will be available in black and chrome with a weight of 33.2 oz. (9″)
Paradise Seat – Tripod and Pivotal
The Paradise seat will be available in two versions; Tripod and Pivotal. This seat features a 3-piece cover with a sublimation Palm Tree pattern print with a reinforced base to help resist bending and breaking. The Paradise seat will be available in Navy blue and black color options with a weight of 9.5 oz. (Tripod) and 11.5 oz. (Pivotal).
The Tyler Fernengel signature Paradise line will be available through all BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Demolition Parts worldwide at the end of October.
