The Shadow Conspiracy Surface Pedal BMX

Are you due for a new set of BMX Pedals? Well, you’re in luck if you’re a fan of plastic pedals. The Shadow Conspiracy have just released their new Surface Pedals for you to get your feet on. These injection molded nylon composite pedals have a wider (100mm), longer (105mm), slimmer (18mm – 24mm) and concave shape, 12 molded, 3.5mm tall pins per side and extra knurling for grip. Inside you can find a heat-treated 4140 chromoly broached spindle, loose ball bearings and an end cap with the Shadow Conspiracy logo to seal it all up. The Surface pedal weighs in at 13.3 oz. per pair and comes in Black, White, Kelly Green, Livid Purple, Crimson Red and Polar Pop Blue. You can pick the pedals up for $19.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry The Shadow Conspiracy or direct from The Shadow Conspiracy webstore now.

“The pedal is a key contact point between you and your bike, so we made the new Shadow Surface Pedal with performance and function in mind. We started with a wider and longer, slim platform. The wide 105mm x100mm platform is specifically shaped to be thin and stiff while still offering an overall concave shape. We added advanced micro knurling and 12 pins per side for a maximum grip that still allows foot adjustments mid-shred. Made with the same proven nylon composite material as the Ravager pedal, with a heat treated chromoly axle that includes a 6mm broach for ease of installation and high end looks.” – The Shadow Conspiracy
