Vulcanization is a heat-treating process to make rubber more durable and longer lasting. The upper is made from a mix of a suede and mesh with a rubber printed toe cap for extra durability, a mesh tongue and collar lining for air flow and a printed Etnies logo in the side. Inside you can find the STI Evolution Foam Lite 1 insole that is designed to absorb impacts and give you plenty of cushion without packing out. On the bottom you can find a triangle pattern on the sole that will give you plenty of traction on the pedals.
