We have seen a handful of videos from Ruben Alcantara’s Malaga Skatepark over in Spain pop up over the past year, but they haven’t had their exclusive grand opening officially opening the gates up to everyone. Ruben along with Etnies and a handful of other sponsors threw a huge grand opening celebrating with a ton of riders turning out for the special day! “2015, day 20, month February, came the big day eagerly awaited by all who practice some kind of sport ‘at risk’ in Malaga and beyond its boundaries. After several days of hard work finalizing details, the team of fieldwork; Ruben Alcantara is said by the BMX, Skate slope Sanmi Dominguez and Paco Nunez traditional skates, supported by a large group of workers left the City of Malaga impeccable and suitable space for opening.
Hoisted flags, fountains and lighting operation, services and operational showers, all prepared slopes; at 5 pm the door turned and gave access, free for the day, about 2,000 visitors from curious and future users.
