Interbike 2011: Cardinal

Next up I had Nate Moroshan give me a low down on what he had going on with Cardinal. They decided to change up a bunch of stuff and add in a few new goodies. Let’s take a look…

For the new year, The Ambassador and Cantero frames have seen some tweaks. The rear end is shorter, the seat tube is higher, new graphics and different tube sets with tapering and butting. They are both looking fresh.

These new bar ends are rad. They are made out of polyurethane (skate wheels) and have a slightly larger diameter. You have to twist them in and out so they stay in place and won’t break when you push them in. Sounds good to me.

I’m blanking on this stem, but I do know that you can run it up or down and it has the same rise. That’s pretty rad.

Sprocket action.

The new tire that is in the works. I want to say this is Mile’s signature tire, but I might be wrong. Regardless, it’s in the works and will be available sooner than later.

Freshen up your look! They will have some new hats and shirt designs coming in soon too.

No, the completes aren’t in the works. They just decided to build up a bike with all the Cardinal goods and some Primo to fill in the cracks.

So that wraps up the Cardinal booth. They’ve done a good job of updating and adding a few new items that look real solid. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments and I’ll try and get you an answer.
