Flybikes – Devon Smillie Signature Fuego Ligera Tire

January 28, 2020

Flybikes BMX Devon Smillie Fuego Ligera Folding Tire

Is it time for some fresh tires for the bike? Get a look at the new Devon Smillie signature Fuego Ligera Tire that is now available. The Fuego Ligera tire is a folding version of Devon’s popular Fuego tire that came out at the end of 2016 to help shed some ounces.

Devon’s signature Fuego tire starts out with a street friendly, smooth tread pattern based on the ever popular Ruben tire that has an HPPR layer (High Pressure, Puncture Resistant), a high pressure casing, a harder sidewall rubber compound with a thicker Protection line that helps resist wearing on the sidewalls and makes it so it doesn’t catch as much when grinding, and an additional pinch resistant layer. Finally, the Fuego Ligera tire has a Kevlar bead instead of the traditional bead to help cut down on weight. This tire was designed with taking heavy abuse from all angles, made from a 60 TPI construction that has a max pressure of 120 PSI, but can be run at a much lower PSI with no problems due to the design and construction.

The Flybikes Fuego Ligera tire is available in a 20 x 2.30″ size only with black for the only color, a weight of 21 oz / 600 grams (Regular Fuego tire is 29.9 oz) and a $50 price tag. You can pick the tire up through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Flybikes worldwide or direct from the Flybikes Webstore now.
