The Fly Bikes booth was the designated chill spot for the BMX guys during Frostbike. I think it’s just because Kevin Porter was in charge with David Leep, Brian Osborne, Jon Wells, and I all hanging out there most of the time. Between the vegan farts, conversation about the hottie over at the Burly booth, and Cobra attacks I snapped a few photos at the booth…
You see this face? Do you know how this face happens? Is it from a nasty vegan fart cooking, frames and bars falling off the wall, or a $140 bar tab between him and Leep the night before? Well… I’m going with all of the above.
I failed on most of these frame pictures. Want to know why? because I missed the freaking drop outs… I must not have realized it. You can see them in one of the photos, pretty fancy and pretty looking. I’m also really into the new SBS removable brake mount system. That needs to catch on even though it’s patented…
The forks with the nice new drop outs… Smooth.
Plastic and metal Ruben pedals…
The 2pc cranks match the frames, bars, and forks…
Matching hubs and rims… Infact, all their parts all match. I’m a HUGE fan of the polished line. If I had a black frame, and all of the polished parts… I’d probably have a boner.
The new Circulo sprocket…
Built in spacers…
I’ve ran these brakes for like 3 years now and still love ’em…
Odds and ends…
Seats and seat posts…
Grips and plugs…
The ever on going Cobra tube project has been released to the world a little while ago… and they are on the attack…
Jon Wells keeping the Cobra tame…
QBP had a big TV monitor set up to show a live feed of people tweeting from Frostbike. Needless to say Brian Osborne, Kevin Porter, and David Leep were having some fun with it all day… When we all walked up to see this on the screen and busted out laughing, the lady who was supposed to …censor it… wasn’t stoked at all. It required a photo…
