Gabe’s name started popping up a few months back when Kink started hooking him up. I really didn’t know much about the guy until I started seeing more and more stuff popping up that he was involved with. After talking with Jay, we decided it would be a real good time to find out a little bit more about this new force coming from L.A. I’d imagine this is just the start and you will be seeing way more from him in the future. Check out what he has to say…

What was it that first got you into BMX? Any early memories come to mind?
Watching the 1996 X Games, seeing Mat Hoffman wiggle his arms like a bird doing a tuck no hander.
How are things going with Kink? I’d imagine Jay has a few things like trips in the works with you for this summer? Anything you can tell us about?
Kink is great.. I just came off of the east coat tour actually. I got to ride with Kink legend, Dirty Dan lol, and the whole team. It was an awesome time. They embrace me like a brother which means a lot to me because where I’m from there’s no love really shown. Jay reminds me of Phil Jackson. I don’t question him too much about events or trips. All I know is that he’ll make me a winner out of whatever he decides.
What’s up with Quintin these days? Do you have anything in the works with them?
Quintin is currently working on a release date for my hat called “be a G”. It’s Gabe spelled backwards but stacked also. It should be released some time soon..

It sounds like they have been changing The Heights up a bit. Have you got to check out some of the new stuff yet?
Not too much have changed at The Heights just yet, but it will be under construction soon. New obstacles are in the works.
What’s up with The Bank L.A these days? Do you guys have anything going on that people should be prepared for? Videos, edits or anything like that?
We’re going to do a interview vid on where I grew up with a little riding. Kind of like a autobiography, so that should be interesting.

I know you have been chilling with Adam22 and the O.S.S crew pretty heavy lately since they spent the winter in Long Beach. Are you getting hooked up by them now? Do you and Adam have anything in the works? I know he dropped that superman bunny hop clip you did the other day.
Adam is down to produce on the daily.. OSS is on it. Sometimes I can’t keep up. I’ll probably drop something before the year is out for TCU. I get a lil’ hook up from OSS if that’s what you want to call it.
Speaking of that. How the hell can you superman bunny hop so good? That’s not normal. Was it a joke or do you actually do shit like that on the regular?
I do a lot of shit randomly. One day I might charge at something after it has irritated me from looking at it over time. Yeah, I do crazy shit, haha.
Any other wild clips that we can expect from you anytime soon?
A lot of crazy clips.. I’m a natural trend setter, so I try and do shit that no one does.

The L.A scene is pretty notorious for having endless spots and tons of talent. Have you grown up there your whole life? I’d imagine you have a good list of spots saved up from all the years, right?
Yeah, I grew up smack center of the L.A riots. I know a lot of spots that need to be tamperd with.
Speaking of spots. What are some of the spots you have been real psyched on lately?
Recently, I went to this loading dock and rail with Chris Long a.ka Mr.equipment, and Matty Long aka Rambo that I’m stoked on..
Do you have any spots you are dying to get to, to drop some hammers?

Do you have any trips planned for the summer? Anywhere you really want to get to but haven’t planned on getting to yet?
I want to go back to Philly and New York. Good street spots.

Let’s say Adam drops a bunch of money and says you can take a trip with 5 friends and one filmer anywhere in the world for a week and all you gotta produce is a real good edit. Who do you bring to ride, who do you bring to film and where do you go?

What do you think you would be up to if you didn’t get into riding?
Playing semi-pro football, or being a gymnastics coach.. wierd
What are you usually up to when you aren’t out riding?
I’m working on branding my name.
Do you work or go to school at all? What do you do or going for if you do?
I want to go back to school for medical assistance.
I know the O.S.S crew and Kink crew knows how to get down. What makes for a good night of partying for you?
Laughter, girls and beer, lol.
Do you ever get into any crazy situations? Any good stories?
I don’t know where to start, but you can put it like this,”It’s hard coming up in South Central and if you aint dead or in jail then you are one of the lucky ones like me”. Shit happens daily and you have to have the mindset of staying ready and not having to get ready. Anything is bound to happen…
How are the ladies in L.A treating you these days? Any go to moves when picking up a new girl?
I’m not a mack. I’m spoiled from all the attention with the west side tropical honey dips. Swagg me out to the 5th power. chuchhh
What’s something about yourself that might surprise people?
I did gymnastics for 9 years and actually traveled to be a United States gymnast.
