Over the last few years, Garrett has managed to blow some minds with his unique and wild riding. There’s no doubt in my mind that if you have seen one of his recent edits and his OSS “Football” part, you said “holy shit” at least 6 to 9 times. Garrett has been healing up from a blown ACL so I figured it would be a good time to shoot him over a few questions to see what’s new. Let’s see what he had to say…

How are things going with Sunday these days? Do you have anything in the works with them for once your knee is back to full-strength? Trips, signature goods or anything?
Things are going really well actually considering ive been hurt. I have a Sig Colorway of the third wave thats should be out sometime relatively soon and also a signature grip that should be amazing…and that should be early next year ish?
What about G-Sport? Do they have anything cooking for you over there?
Gsport is awesome the team is stacked and super cool I might get a sig color wheel to match my Sunday frame.
How are things going with Lotek? It looks like Rich has really been putting some time back into the brand lately. Is there anything going on there that you are getting excited about?
Yea man, it’s picking up over at Lotek. The new shoes are gonna be so good. I’ve seen the new tread and insoles in real life and they honestly look perfect. Things have moved slow over here lately, but it finally looks like its heading in the right direction.
So you tore your ACL a little while back and had surgery. How has the recovery been going? When can we expect to start seeing you cruising again?
Well, I’m already cruisin but I probably won’t be shredding till at least December…Psyched I’m only 2 months away so stoked.
Have you been back home in Maryland recovering or are you kicking it in the new OSS house for the time being?
I’m actually living a mile or 2 from OSS house in a studio with my girlfriend.. I’ll prob be back over there more once I’m shredding.

This past year seemed to have been pretty solid for you as far as traveling and everything goes. Where are some of your favorite places you had the chance to go?
Honestly, I haven’t done that much traveling this year, haha. Nashville was insane for street and Austin is Austin. Other then that I’ve been hanging out in Long Beach.
Will you have any filming projects on your plate in the coming year?
Sunday wants to do a DVD but we are just starting so no big plans yet.
What’s one trick you can’t do for the life of you?
Oppo hop whips
What do you think you would be getting into if you never started riding?
Honestly, I have no idea. I don’t even really wanna think about it.

Speaking of bars. Are you much of a partier? I feel like being apart of the OSS crew requires some level of late night extra curricular activities? What’s the choice drink of Garrett Reeves?
I’ll take a blunt over a beer any day but if I have to drink, make it Jack and Coke.
Sketchy situations come with the BMX territory. Do you have any good stories?
One time in Philly me and some other guys got surrounded in a school yard by a gang. I think Corey Godfrey got his bike stolen…it was scary. If we didn’t all have bikes to get away (Corey on the pegs) not sure what could of happened.

If you couldn’t ride BMX anymore, what would your dream job be?
I’d love to grow weed for a living.
Where do you see yourself in a few years?
Hopefully still shredding and progressing. Maybe I’ll live in MD again by that time.
