Since I’m sure this weekend kicked your ass pretty good either from riding or partying. Why don’t you kick back and check out some of the best web videos that dropped in the Daily Section? We’ve gone through all 17 pages (around 170 posts) that were added this past week and pulled the best videos for you to check out all in one place. So why don’t you kick back and watch all of the videos while you recover. We’ve got 10 videos worth a re-watch or checking out if you missed them for you. Check it!
Above we have the highly anticipated Mutiny “Come Together” video that finally dropped today. The Mutiny team consisting of Josh Bedford, George Boyd, Brandon Hoerres, Robbo, Matt Roe, Justin Simpson, Grant Castelluzzo, Deven Ferrer, Mat Houck, Mikey Luplow, Andy Martinez and Kyle Davenport had 90 days filming with Walter Pieringer to come up with clips for this new one. Needless to say, the team ended up coming through with some damn good riding and Walter did a great job with the filming and editing. If you only watch one video out of these 10, this would be the one I want you to watch.
Odyssey are always cooking up creative ideas to show you how good their products are. They wanted to do something special with their new Quik Slic Kable that simplifies your brake setup for easy installation and better overall braking, so they recruited Aaron Ross to show you just how good the cable works. If you are looking for a laugh, this is definitely one way to get the job done. It looks like Tom Dugan still hasn’t got over his vacuuming kick either which is unfortunate for everyone except his roomates…
By now, everyone knows that Chad Kerley is the definition of PURE FIRE. Kids were losing their minds on Twitter all week anticipating the release of his new Markit edit. The crazy part about this video, it consists of all of his “scraps” that won’t be making it into his full part for the Markit Zero DVD that I’d imagine is getting close to being done by now. Don’t quote me on that one. Either way, I knew this one would be classified as a MUST SEE before I even hit play. So if you haven’t seen this one, I HIGHLY suggest you hit play right now. If you have seen it already, I still suggest you re-watch it. I should also mention that Christian Rigal was behind the filming and editing which should speak for itself as well.
Changing gears a little bit, there was a new video from Tree Bicycle Co. that dropped this week featuring Derek Nelson. Anyone who has seen footage from Derek Nelson over the last few years knows he doesn’t fit any sort of “cookie cutter” style since he’s riding the most ridiculous things and doing tricks nobody else is doing. This new video is just that and because of it, I suggest you check it out since it will most likely inspire you to go out and try something new you never thought of doing before.
It’s always a good day when some fresh Chris Courtenay footage drops. This past week Colony dropped this new video of Chris that they had spent the last few months filming for. Chris’ riding is definitely defined by words like “dialed” and “wild” which also happen to rhyme… but yeah. This edit is jam packed with wild riding that is extremely clean and dialed. Troy Charlesworth handled the majority of the filming with the help of Cooper Brownlee and Clint Millar, as well as handled the editing which all around turned out really clean. This video had an all around good vibe to it and I’m already looking forward to Chris’ next edit that I hope he’s working on now.
Garrett Reeves has been on fire to say the least. His approach to street riding combines unique setups with making riding look effortless. This new Sunday edit is loaded with some wild spots and riding that will make you say “what the hell?” over and over again. How he does the things he does on a bike is completely beyond me. I don’t care if I ever find out as long as more footage like this keeps popping up.
Portland, Oregon has always been a hot spot for BMX. Not only have their been a ton of damn good riders that have come from that city, there’s been a lot of people who have made a trip there for the same reason. The street spots and cement parks are so good. Almond recently sent Jared Washington, Jeff Kocsis and Iz Pulido to meet up with Ben Hucke in his home town to see what kind of clips they could stack. They definitely didn’t have any problems since they came through with this 3:45 long video that’s loaded with goodness. I’d imagine this would be one of those places you will want to visit when you have more ambition. Until then, on to the next video!
What happens when you load Jamie Bestwick, Scotty Cranmer, Pat Casey, Dakota Roche, Ryan Guettler, Andy Buckworth, Vince Byron and Catfish into the Monster tour bus and take a trip up to Utah? They end up making you wish you lived like they do. Oh and they get some proper riding time in together. This video recaps the trip they took which documents the different places they visited and some of the shows they did at shops like 50/50. It’s kind of crazy seeing Jamie Bestwick not riding vert…
I’m a big fan of these Hideout videos that Rob Palmer has been producing. They quality of the filming and editing is so high. Mix that in with Chris Jenner hitting up some hand made spots around Leeds and you have yourself one fine ass video. All I know is this one makes me really want to go to Leeds to ride some of these spots.
United have been dropping sections from the “This Is United” video pretty irregularly for a while now. Not sure if they just forget to drop it or if it’s meant to be. Either way, they were sitting on Alex Valentino and Ian Morris’ split section with a mix of clips from Luke Peeters, Ross Broughton, Dan Boiski, Steve Debusk, Jamie Lusted, Josh Kathigitis, Marko Maksimovic, Josh Heritage, Dean Hearne, Roy Van Kempen and Tom Sanders. That line up alone should be more than enough to make you want to check this out regardless if you have seen the video already or not
So that wraps up this weeks edition of Hangover!
