Want to learn how to replace a broken spoke on your wheel?

If you’re hard on your wheels, it’s inevitable that you will end up with a broken spoke or two… or dozen. However, it isn’t too tricky to getting a replacement spoke in place! Here’s a quick video that Colony uploaded showing you how to replace a broken spoke on a BMX wheel, which is going to be pretty much the same process for any bicycle wheel as long as you follow the same lacing cross pattern the wheel uses. Hit play and take a peek!

This might be a simple one for the more experienced riders but for the crew getting into BMX this is a must watch for when you are out on the bike.” – Colony BMX

If you need a measurement for a BMX spoke, check out the BMX Spoke Calculator to see if we have the combination of hub and rim you need to calculate the length. Note, we only have the rims and hubs that we were able to get measurements on, so not every hub and rim combination is possible.
