Aaron Nardi made a stop by the Imprint Project setup that was in Austin, Texas a few weeks back during the Texas Toast Jam to get the low down on what it is all about and give you a look at some of the photos and photographers that are featured. This was definitely an awesome project and they picked the perfect group of photographers for this.

Defgrip and Quintin recently came together with five of their favorite BMX photographers to form ‘The Imprint Project.’ The idea behind the project was simple: five esteemed BMX photographers from different parts of the world (Jeff Zielinski in California, Ricky Adam in Leeds, U.K., Walter Pieringer in Austin, Edwin De La Rosa in N.Y. and George Marshall in London, U.K.) were asked to be included in a black and white traveling photo gallery that started in Venice, Calif., ventured to Austin, Texas for the Texas Toast Jam, and will soon continue on to Europe and Japan.

According to Chris Mortenson of Quintin, “Quintin wanted to bring the idea of collaboration to BMX photographers,” and to that end, they’ve created t-shirts and hats featuring photos from The Imprint Project, which are available for purchase on the Quintin site and includes a Ricky Adam shot of Mike Tag at Stockwell skatepark in London.” – Aaron Nardi / ESPN BMX
