BMX has been doing some really rad collaborations over the years. There have been a handful of brands that have teamed up to work on projects and it has lead to some aesthetically pleasing limited edition products that are easy to be stoked on. Most recently, Fit Bike Co. and Etnies have teamed up with their shared team riders, Tom Dugan and Ben Lewis, to work on a special project that included complete bikes, shoes and a few different shirts. With the recent release, we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look at just what they have cooked up for this collaboration. Ready? Let’s get into it!
Let’s start out with the bikes. They’ve taken Ben Lewis’ signature Benny 1 complete with a translucent grey colorway and Ben’s Fit X Etnies “Battle of the Fittest” graphics throughout. The bike itself features a frame with a chromoly front triangle, a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 8.25″ stand over height, 11.7″ bottom bracket height and a 13.1″ chainstay length. The fork has a one-piece chromoly steerer tube with tapered legs and 3/8″ axle slots, with bars that have an 8.5″ rise and a 28.5″ width with Benny grips and a 50mm alloy front load stem to keep it all tight together with an integrated headset. The driveline features Fit’s Indented 170mm, 8-spline chromoly cranks with a 25-tooth Key sprocket, Odyssey‘s Twisted PC pedals and a KMC Z410H chain. The front wheel features a sealed alloy 3/8 hub that’s laced to a Revenge SW1 36-hole rim and Fit’s OEM 2.4″ tire. The rear wheel has a sealed 14mm cassette hub with a 1-piece 9-tooth driver that’s laced to a Revenege SW1 36-hole rim with a OEM 2.40″ tire. Wrap it all up the Lo-Bolt pivotal seat and some brakes to complete the package. This bike weighs in at 25.80 lbs and is also available in a bright red and gloss black if you aren’t feeling the translucent grey.

Next up, we have Tom Dugan’s signature bike for the “Battle of the Fittest” collaboration. This bike starts out with a special matte black colorway and Tom’s collaboration Fit X Etnies graphics. The bike stars out with a frame that has a chromoly front triangle with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 8.6″ stand over height, 11.6″ bottom bracket height and a 13.1″ chain stay length. The fork has a chromoly one-piece steerer tube, tapered legs and 3/8″ dropouts. the bars have a 8.375″ rise and 28.5″ width with the Fit Team grips. You can find a 50mm alloy front load stem to keep the front end together with an integrated headset to keep the bars turning as well. The driveline features Fit’s Indented 170mm, 8-spline chromoly cranks, a 25-tooth Key sprocket, Odyssey’s Twisted PC pedals and the KMC Z410H chain. The front wheel has an alloy sealed 3/8″ hub laced to a Revenge SW1 36-hole rim and Fit’s OEM 2.4″ tire. The rear wheel has a sealed 14mm cassette hub with a 9-tooth one-piece driver laced to a Revenge SW1 36-hole rim with a OEM 2.4″ tire. The bike has Fit’s Lo-Bolt pivotal seat and some brakes to get your fufanu on. This bike comes in matte black with a weight of 26.01 lbs. If you aren’t feeling the black, this bike also comes in bright green and translucent burgundy.

Let’s take a look at the shoes now. Above is Tom Dugan’s signature mid top Rap LS shoe. This shoe starts out with a coated textile material with a double stitched toe cap to help prevent blow outs and a padded tongue and collar for extra protection and comfort. Inside you can find the STI Lite 1 footbed and a stitched rubber outsole that will help absorb impacts and give you plenty of grip on your pedals. This shoe comes in black with a gum sole only.
The Rap LS shoe is available for $69.99 on the Etnies Webstore with free shipping, or for $59.99 on Dan’s Comp.
Not into the mids or maybe you just want a lighter color, or even just want both shoes? Well here’s a look at Ben Lewis’ signature Rap CL for the collaboration. This shoe starts out with a suede / action textile material with a one-piece rubber printed toe cap and side to help prevent blow outs, a thinly padded tongue and collar with a tongue centering strap to help keep things in place. Inside you can find the STI Evolution footbed for plenty of comfort and protection. On the bottom they’ve done a stitched rubber sole that features the Duo Grip outsole with the herringbone tread pattern in the middle to help grip the pedals even better. This shoe comes in grey with red and white accents.
The Rap CL Ben Lewis signature shoe can be picked up for $64.99 through the Etnies Webstore with free shipping or for $54.99 on Dan’s Comp.
To complete the collaboration, they’ve dropped 5 different collaboration shirts to go with this! First up we have the Prescott which features the screen printed “Battle of the Fittest” logo. This one can be picked up for $19.99 in the Etnies Webstore or on Dan’s Comp for $17.99.
Tom Dugan’s signature Amity shirt features his logo on a corrosion wash shirt. This can be picked up for $27.99 in the Etnies Webstore or for $23.99 on Dan’s Comp.
Looking for something a little fancier than a t-shirt? Well, they got you covered. The Tom Dugan signature Krowley shirt is a combed cotton 30 singles jersey style shirt with Fit and Etnies branded artwork and labels. You can pick this one up for $35.99 in the Etnies Webstore or for $29.99 on Dan’s Comp!
The 4th shirt is Ben Lewis’ signature Lords shirt which features his Fit X Etnies logo screen printed on the front with a larger one back of this 100% cotton t-shirt. This one can be picked up for $19.99 in the Etnies Webstore or for $17.99 on Dan’s Comp.
The final shirt is Ben Lewis’ signature Vanowen jersey. This has a football (soccer) style jersey cut and is made from 100% polyester mesh with contrasted arm piping and screen printed and patched Fit X Etnies logos with the number 86 on the back. The Vanowen can be picked up for $39.99 in the Etnies Webstore or on Dan’s Comp for $33.99.
So that wraps up the entire line! I’d imagine there has to be at least one thing you’re stoked on in this one since it all turned out real good.
