Quintin Co. has been on the scene since 2009. In that time, they’ve made it clear they are down with BMX by sponsoring guys like Ben Lewis, Gabe Brooks, Aaron Ross and Jackson Ratima. They have also done a number of collaboration hats with multiple brands like Mutiny, Odyssey and even The Union (hopefully out early 2012. Fingers crossed). It’s easy to forget they make things other than just hats. The other day I received an early Christmas present in the mail and I was pleasantly surprised to find a box from Quintin. Thinking maybe they got the hats done early, I opened it to find shirts and a sweatshirt which I was psyched about. Always good to freshen up the wardrobe. Since I felt like their clothing doesn’t get much shine, I decided I’d snap a few photos to give you guys a closer look…
First up is their Nitniuq shirt. Maybe I’m slightly dyslexic, or a dumbass, or my brain just told me it said Quintin, but I didn’t even realize it was spelled backwards right off the bat. I’m going with dumbass and, due to a few concussions in my day, that my brain didn’t want it to click. This shirt is available in red and black with sizes small through XL. Also, if you notice on the bottom right side, there’s a small red Quintin logo patch that can be found on all of the shirts. They have also done up some custom tags which read “Basically, there are two types of people. People who have accomplished things and people who claim to have accomplished things. The first group is less crowded. – Mark Twain” which I thought was a nice touch.
You can pick this one up for $24.99 in red here and in black here.
Next, we have the Collegiate long sleeve t-shirt. This one is available in Royal blue or black with sizes of small, medium and XL. The one I have is a large so I’m not sure if they are sold out of the large or if it just isn’t available yet. You can pick the Collegiate up for $28.00 in the Royal blue here and the black here.
The third and my personal favorite, the 1981 3/4 sleeve. This 100% cotton shirt is damn comfy and I think it looks real cool. It has black or navy sleeves with heather grey and sizes of small, medium and XL. Once again, not sure why they don’t have large available on their website since that’s the size I have. You can pick the black sleeved one up for $32.00 right here or the navy sleeved one here. This shirt also features the Quintin logo patch and custom tag.
The final item that I found in the box was the Slime crewneck sweatshirt. Now, I’m more of a hoody guy, but I’ll be honest and say anything warm and fuzzy is awesome this time of year in Minnesota. This 100% cotton Champion heather grey sweatshirt has a clean Quintin logo in a purple font. Real simple, real warm, real comfortable. This one is currently available in small and medium for $50.00 here. Once again, not sure if they will have larger ones in stock soon or not.
I’d like to give a shout out to Quintin Co. for sending through the goods. You can check out their full winter 2011 line up at Store.Quintinco.com.
