Insight: Stolen – 2014 Heist

Complete bikes are getting more and more dialed with each year and there are options for just about everyone out there. Stolen have a huge range of complete bikes from the entry level all the way up to the higher end bikes that are loaded with aftermarket parts. The 2014 Heist is an example of a bike that spec’d for quality without breaking the bank. We figured it would be cool to take a closer look at just what this bike is all about. Let’s take a peek.

The 2014 Heist complete starts out with a chromoly main frame that has a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.75″ bottom bracket height, 8.7″ seat tube height and a 13.75″ chain stay length. You can find an integrated head tube and seat post clamp, a Mid bottom bracket and compact 5mm thick 14mm drop outs. The bike has full chromoly 8.25″ rise bars along a full chromoly fork with a 28mm offset, tapered legs and a one-piece steerer tube. You can also find the Stolen top load stem, Loot grips, a Fat padded seat and post combo, fully sealed front and rear hubs with a 9-tooth cassette in the rear that are laced to Stolen’s Revolver double wall rims with STLN tires (2.30″ front / 2.20″ rear), MOB 3-piece cranks, an Alloy 25 tooth sprocket and the Thermalite pedals!

The Heist weighs in at 24.6 lbs. and comes in matte neon green splatter with matte black or in Caution silver with reflective stickers and reflective sidewalls on the tires.

Reflective stickers and the reflective strip around the tire.

Sealed hubs front and rear. 9-tooth cassette in the rear.
