The Sterling Frame
Let’s start out with the Sterling frame. This frame is made from Seamless 4130 Japanese chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, a 9″ stand over height and a 13.4″ chain stay length. You can find a heat-treated, CNC machined integrated head tube with an extended height to reduce the number of spacers with an uncut fork, gussets on the top and down tubes with a “WTP” logo, a single-butted top tube, a double-butted down tube, a CNC machined and heat-treated MID bottom bracket, a wide rear triangle to fit 2.40″ tires, unique end caps on the seat and chain stays to match the fork (see below), CNC machined and heat-treated 6mm thick drop outs that will fit flush with most pegs with extra sink details, a low-profile integrated seat post clamp and removeable brake mounts.
Ice Blue (Translucent blue)
The Sterling frame is available in top tube lengths of 20.6″, 20.9″ and 21.2″ with color options of Black Titan, glossy black, Translucent blue (Ice blue) and translucent green and a weight of 5.29 lbs. (2.40 kg)
You can find gussets on the top and down tubes with the “WTP” logo. The head tube is CNC machined and heat-treated. It’s also extended to help reduce the number of spacers needed for an uncut fork.
The seat and chain stay bridges allow for plenty of tire clearance in the back. You can run a 2.40″ tire with no issues.
The Sterling frame features a slim-profile integrated seat post clamp for a clean look.
The 6mm thick dropouts on the Sterling frame are CNC machined and heat-treated for strength. You can also see the unique end caps on the seat and chain stays that match the fork that we’ll talk about below.
The Sterling frame retails for around $374.99 – $424.99 and is available through all shops and mail-orders that carry Wethepeople worldwide.
