Things are getting chilly over in Germany despite it being summer. The Wethepeople crew have been busy getting their new translucent “Ice Blue” colorway dialed in on their full range of BMX frames, bars and forks. We were able to get our hands on some photos of this color on everything that it is now available on worldwide through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Wethepeople! Let’s take a closer look!
Clash Frame
The Clash frame is made from butted Japanese seamless 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.6″ standover height and 13.5″ chain stay length. The frame features a CNC machined and heat-treated integrated head tube with drilled gyro tabs, a gusset on the down tube, an extruded top tube with integrated cable guides, a low profile integrated seat post clamp, wider rear triangle for 2.40″ tires, heat-treated 4130 chromoly drop outs with unique tech sink cuts and integrated chain tensioners and removable brake mounts. The Clash is available in 20.5 and 21″ top tube lengths.
This frame is also available in black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Sterling Frame
The Pete Sawyer signature Sterling frame is made from butted Japanese seamless 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 69-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ standover height and 13.4″ chain stay length. This frame features a CNC machined and heat-treated extended integrated head tube for less spacers, gussets on the top and down tubes, a single butted top tube with integrated cable guides, a double butted down tube, a CNC machined and heat-treated MID bottom bracket, unique end caps on the seat and chain stays, a wide rear triangle to fit 2.40″ tires, small heat-treated 14mm drop outs, an integrated seat post clamp and removable brake mounts. The Sterling frame is available with top tube lengths of 20.6″, 20.9″ and 21.2″ with a weight of 5.29.
It is also available in black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Sterling Bars
Pete Sawyer’s signature Sterling bar is made from 7/8″ thick, full-liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly multi-butted tubing with a 9.2″ rise, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 3-degrees of upsweep. You can find cut lines on the end of each side of the bar for easy trimming. These bars weigh in at 1.78 lbs (28.55 oz.) and are available in black Titan, glossy black and translucent green for other color options.
Sterling Fork
The Sterling fork is made from full-liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly tubing with a fully CNC machined single-butted 170mm steerer tube with integrated crown race. This fork has laser cut, CNC machined 4130 chromoly heat-treated 6mm thick 32mm offset drop outs and unique blade end caps to match the Sterling frame and a 7075-T6 alloy M24 top bolt. The Sterling fork weighs in at 2.10 lbs (33.6 oz. / without top bolt) with other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Patron Frame
The Patron frame is made from butted Japanese seamless 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70.5-degree seat tube angle, 11.7″ bottom bracket height, 8.5″ standover height and 13.4″ chain stay length. You can find an extended CNC machined and heat-treated integrated head tube with drilled gyro tabs, a gusset on the down tube, a double butted down tube, an extruded top tube with integrated cable guide threads, a CNC machined and heat-treated MID bottom bracket, a wider rear triangle for 2.40″ tires, D-shaped chain stays for improved tire clearance and strength, investment cast 7mm thick heat-treated 4130 chromoly 14mm drop outs with unique tech sink cuts and an integrated chain tensioner and removable brake mounts. The Patron frame comes in top tube lengths of 20.75″ and 21.15″ with a weight of 5 lbs. even and other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Patron Bar
The Patron bar is made from 7/8″ thick, multi-butted full liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly tubing with three different sizes available; 8.75″ rise and 29″ width, 9″ rise and 29.5″ width and 10″ rise and 30″ width, with 12-degrees of backsweep and 3-degrees of upsweep. The Patron bar weighs in at 1.79 lbs (28.64 oz. / 8.75″) with other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Patron Fork
The Patron Fork is made from full liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly tubing with a fully CNC machined, single-butted 170mm steerer tube with integrated crown race. You can find 7mm thick, investment casted 4130 chromoly heat-treated 25mm offset dropouts and a 7075-T6 alloy M24 top bolt. The Patron fork weighs in at 2.04 lbs. (32.76 oz. / without top bolt) and comes in other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green.
Everlite Bars
The Everlite 4-piece bars are made from 7/8″ thick, multi-butted, full liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly with a 9″ rise, 28.5″ width, 12-degrees of backsweep and 5-degrees of upsweep. These bars weigh in a 1.97 lbs. (31.5 oz.) and come in other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green!
Mad Max Bars
The Max Gaertig signature Mad Max bars are made from 7/8″ thick, multi-butted, full liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly with a 9.5″ rise, 30″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep and 1.5-degrees of upsweep. These bars weigh in at 1.78 lbs. (28.53 oz.) with other color options of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green!
Switch Bars
The Mike Curley signature Switch bars are made from 7/8″ thick, multi-butted, full liquid post-weld heat-treated 4130 M2 chromoly with an 8.75″ rise, 28.75″ width, 11.5-degrees of backsweep and 2.5-degrees of upsweep. These bars feature an ovalized crossbar, weigh in at 1.79 lbs (28.64 oz.) and come in other colors of black Titan, glossy black and translucent green!
