Interbike 2009: Deco

Alright, a quick update from me for a few companies here. I’ve been running around a bunch this morning just talking to everyone and catching up with the usual B.S’ing that is completely needed. My first stop where the camera came out was with Chad DeGroot at the Deco booth. Here is what I got…

Alright, so what can I say about Deco that hasn’t already been said in the past week. It’s Chad DeGroot’s new company. After being fucked around by a few other companies in the past, he has finally taken initiative to do it his way. I wasn’t too surprised by the news since I’ve been waiting for him to do it anyways.
Chad has a frame, which will feature all of the goodies like integrated everything. It also features a brazed on logo which isn’t typical these days. I think it’s pretty classy though.
The bars are a Scerbo 4 piece bar feel, with a two piece look. I’m surprised nobody has tried this before. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s just what I remember.
The forks will feature removable mounts, with another version coming along that will have no mounts. So don’t freak out if you don’t ride brakes.
In the near future you can expect a flatland frame and probably a few more goodies along with that.
The Tee’s featured above are just a few of the shirts. Typical Florida antics designed by Dave McDermott. Should be interesting to see where Deco goes…
